Homebrew Crash/Green Screen on OoThax installer

Title. I insert a blank savefile OoT cartridge, start the installer up and, nothing. Bottom screen green (sometimes, now it's orange-ish the last time I tried), top screen black. System crashed, can't return to the homebrew menu. I have to hold down the power button to manually turn off the system.
Is there anything wrong here? I have the otherapp as Payload.bin in my sd card root and everything, I have internet to install it, the game card has no savefiles. What do I do?

EDIT: Same thing happens for the save manager. (With the OoT card in) Crashes on startup.

EDIT 2: Same thing happens with HANS. (With the OoT card in)

I'll try that. I don't remember having to do that the other times I've installed it 10.7 and below, but I'll try it.

Try downloading the starter.zip again and copying to the sd card.

Do I need everything from the starter.zip? Or just the 'install' 3dsx folder+oothax installer .xml and .smdh? That's what I've been doing.

Better safe than sorry, copy everything to root espeically the boot.3dsx file.

Edited first post, and so far I know that the save manager does the same thing. Only with my OoT game card, too.

I have. It works. It's like there's something wrong with my gamecard.
I have installed oothax on it before, but I have deleted the savedata since.

EDIT: HANS doesn't work with OoT either. Something isn't right with the gamecard.

Try formatting the game.

Start the game then hold A B X Y quickly and the game should ask you to format it, just say yes and confirm

How about this, try using fbi installer to browse the game card, make sure is on the latest version 2.3.2

As in NASA or FBI?

Last time I tried FBI, it didn't start up at all, regardless of gamecard. NASA crashes on startup, too. Sigh

Just made a save file and started it. Works just like normal..
