I really want to play Kirby's Dreamland 3, but BlargSNES doesn't work with the SA1 chip that's needed by the game. Is there any way to play this on my N3DS? I have a DS flashcard if there's an NDS emulator that works.

Wow. A member who actually uses the temp, and often at that, creating a question thread, in the homebrew development section. That's almost as bad as the tutorial section!
Answering the question, what about vc injection?

Nice sarcastic tone that was very unnecessary. The post very well belongs here. Good job on being a self centered prick, though. Without fail..

Also, as far as I'm aware, not even VC will work properly with that. The hardware limits it

Homebrew development and emulators
Besides, there's nothing wrong with asking questions in this section. And no, VC injection doesn't work.

I'm used to getting that.

On my DSTwo, CATSFC works (very slowly) with the SA1 chip, and CATSFC has a 3DS port, so try that?

I see there's also a second version called CatSFC Plus. It says it has better sound quality, but would it have better performance or compatibility too?

Something worth trying.
It's glitchy if you have frameskip on though, so turn it off and endure the slow.

Lower performance

Well kirby dream land 3 is on WIi U VC right? So does that not mean is not possible to not have it on 3ds VC Since they are both SNES games?

Some special chip games are on vc, Contra 3 alien wars is on both WIi U and NEW 3ds and has mode 7 chip, So i guess if nintendo wanted to you know.....

I think only the CATSFC emulator can emulate the SA1 chip. At least I can't run Kirby's Dreamland 3 in any other emulator/VC.

Not wanting to derail this thread, I'm much more concerned about the hundreds of posts about Luma3DS and other CFW here, instead of posting in the Flashcards & Custom Firmware section.

But Mode 7 is a hardware feature of the SNES, it's not a special chip...

I see your point, still Kirby dream land 3 is on WII U and i believe it could appear on 3ds eshop sometime. I was wondering if Kirby return to dream land 3d would have been a thing, cause epic yarn in 3d doesn't sound as fun. :creep:
