Spike Chunsoft has posted three videos of Zero Time Dilemma on their YouTube channel, and they show us the differences between the three different platforms the game will be released on: Playstation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, and Steam.

Vita:

3DS:

Steam:

So, now that we have a clear comparison, have you made the decision, or are you still having a dilemma?

There's no dilemma to be had on my end at least. For months now I've already decided on getting the 3DS version, mainly because the franchise has started out on Nintendo's handhelds. Not only that but I'm getting it as a prize which will be sent to me so the decision's already in effect and it's too late to change it now (Not that I'd want to. :P)

On another note, other than Phi, Sigma and Zero I can't take anyone's facial animations seriously (Although to be fair Zero's cheating since he's wearing a bird-doctor's mask.) Sigma's all serious look actually suits him for some odd reason...

Probably because he's a 67 year old person in a 22 year old body, experience comes with age so he's in the right to be wearing that look. :)

Will definitely be getting the Steam version. So happy to see Japanese devs reaching out to the PC platform. If I ever want a physical copy, then I'll go with the Vita version, because I prefer it to my 3DS.

3DS as I don't own a Vita and if I got it on Steam I would never be able to play it as a lot of the time I play games on the go.

PS: Also the 3DS doesn't look that bad and it will probably look better on the actual 3DS screen. Not sure why everyone is complaining...

I have a uneasy feeling about the art style on this game, It's getting a little weird compared to the hand drawn animation on the first game on the ds
I REALLY love the art style on 999, it's easily one of the main things that hooked me up on that game, and virtue's last reward was nice, but the 3d animations really didn't stick out to me too much

I would have gone for Vita if there had been no Steam version.
I have both a Vita and a 3ds, and I find the Vita more comfortable to play with in hand. (but Vita haz no gaems ;o; )

I'm still going for the steam version though, I don't really care about portability for that game.

3ds of course, the second screen always served a purpose. In 999 it was the ultimate twist and in VLR, it explained how Sigma sees things. If you know what I mean. XD

Please no spoilers, this isn't the plot thread..

How was that a spoiler? It didn't explain anything beyond a twist and how a character sees things. No specifics = not really a spoiler.

Besides, assuming it even was spoiler-worthy we're talking in a ZTD thread. It should be assumed that you've played either or both games before this.

I'm getting both. But amazon says temporarily out of stock for Vita and ships within 2 and 4 weeks for the 3DS version even though I pre-ordered both a month ago.

I chose to be vague, not to spoil anything.

Was planning to get both too, the 3ds version just came out here. The PS Vita, didn't make it I guess...

The 3DS version looks okay, but some textures look like total butt (most noticeable on Sigma's shirt). There's also some graphical issues like Phi's shoulders clipping through her shirt or something, leading to black flickering. Somehow, they also managed to mess up the 3DS touch screen controls and dragging and writing feel AWFUL and unresponsive.
