NACON and Spiders studio have revealed the release date for their upcoming narrative RPG GreedFall: The Dying World (which is currently available in Early Access on Steam). For the occasion, the video above was aired.

The story of GreedFall: The Dying World begins three years before the events of the first game, at the dawn of the Malichor plague, a mysterious illness that is gradually corrupting the Old Continent of Gacane. This time, you play as a native of the island of Teer Fradee, recently discovered by the colonists of Gacane, destined to become a Doneigad: a guardian of knowledge and Nature. Your initiation is barely complete when your destiny is overturned as you are taken prisoner by soldiers who forcibly take you to the Old Continent.

Your quest to regain your freedom plunges you into the heart of a vast conspiracy: it's up to you to forge your destiny in the hope of saving not only your island but the entire continent.

Features of GreedFall: The Dying World include:

• Recruit companions: During your journey, you get to meet new allies ready to join your cause: recruit up to eight companions, each with their own story, beliefs, and secrets. Their presence in your party allows you to obtain information, defuse tricky situations, or sometimes make them worse... It's up to you to develop your relationships with your companions, to make them brothers-in-arms, rivals, friends, or even soulmates!
• Master the art of combat: While cunning or diplomacy can get you out of many situations, you can also resort to force to confront the many enemies on your path in intense combat sequences. Thanks to the tactical pause, you can coordinate your actions and those of your companions to exploit enemy weaknesses and unleash devastating skills. But if you wish to stay in the heat of the action, you can also focus on the character of your choice and let the rest of the group act on its own. Numerous options will allow you to adapt the combat style to your preferences!
• Discover the continent of Gacane: Aboard your ship, the Constanzia, you will explore the vast continent of Gacane, a land divided by conflicts between factions. This is your opportunity to travel through majestic cities and lands with unique landscapes! Uncover their mysteries, discover their treasures, and face the many dangers they hold. Watch the world evolve according to your decisions: they will shape your reputation, your alliances, and they will decide the fate of your adventure.

GreedFall: The Dying World will launch in its definitive version on PC on 10 March and on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on 12 March 2026.
