Wasabi fellas,

I considered posting this in the Loadiine topic, but pretty much every public tool found on loadiine.ovh yields the same result so I figured a topic of it's own would be more fitting.

I tried to get the homebrew launcher and loadiine working, but both result in the FSgetmountsource error. I did try the search function, but the results were of people that simply fixed the issue by swaping the files, which did not work for me.

I followed FlimFlam69's 5.5.1's guide and here are the steps I did:

  • Format SD Card, Fat32, 64kb clusters
  • Get all files onto it
  • Ignore the format message on the Wii U
  • Start exploit through Loadiine.ovh
  • Get the white screen with Wii U symbol, into blackscreen and error message
  • Hard shut-down console due to freeze
Also here's a screenshot of my folder structure, that might help:

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in Advance!

Take your homebrew_launcher.elf out of the extra folder. It is useless if you don't.

Yeah, Fat32 with 64kb.
what program is used to format? since windows formatter screws the clustersize a lot...
best free option for sd format to get the right FileSystem is: https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/index.html
the error says it can't reed the filesystem right.
this could also come from being an SD-card that's incompatible with desired console...
windows and mac pc's don't see the differences for thier designed to work with all brands and filesystems, while for example nintedo can have a block programmed for certain brand sd-cards.

Some people with this issue fixed it by formatting with panasonic sd formatter it only will let you format to exfat but afterwards format it back to fat32 with the program of your choice.

Used a different tool than the one you mentioned because the post didn't load the full information, but the result is the same. Yeah, it says it can't find the source. I'm using a SanDisk 32GB which worked so far for the Wii U. Can you recommend a card that worked for you?

Make sure the folders for your games are named correctly.

I'm pretty sure I got the right title ID, the games files might not be genuine tho. Does Loadiine need a game to start?

Gonna give it a shot, thanks.

The FSGetMountSource error means that the HBL launcher failed to actually mount and read the SD Card's file system. If your Wii U's SD Card slot isn't full of dust, then its likely a file system issue. Being on a Mac, I used Disk Utility to format my SD Card, and it works well.
On Windows, you should be able to install the SD Association's own formatting tool to format your SD Card correctly.

If that still doesn't work, your console's SD Card slot may be damaged. Try other SD Cards and see if they work.

Seems to be a file issue then since the sd card itself works. I will try another formating tool and/or a different SD.

I was having this exact same problem tried everything I could think of as a last resort I blew some it into the sd card slot and problem solved and it worked perfectly for me. So you may have a dirty sd card slot.
Hopefully that's the case. Will get to it when i get home from work.

Its probably just down to the fact your using a cheap SD Card, badly made etc..

Feel free to recommend a better one that gets the job done.

Go and buy one from a reputable electric store near you, like for the uk its PC World, never buy media from ebay or amazon and certainly not from mymemory.co.uk cause they sell pure rubbish, then you will find it will not happen.

Edit: I will use mymemory.co.uk as a great example on this sort of issue!. Now if you go and buy say a 64GB PNY Performance sd card from PCWorld you will pay in UK about £19.99p and you think "I'm not paying that I can get it much cheaper online!" then you go and buy the same card from mymemory.co.uk, you will pay a cheaper £9.99p agreed, then get both cards, they look the same but if you look at where they are made on the back of the package, PCWorlds will say UK or Ireland whether mymemorys will say China/Taiwan, need I say more! That my friend is probably why yours does not work and you get the FSGMountsource error.

Actually, i did buy it from a reputable electronic store and i never had issues with SanDisk before. So it's not from amazon, but thanks for the heads up.

Lol PC world is like the worst company to recommend you will pay double the price you would in somewhere like asda for the same sd card.
