My Gamepad screen broke, and I would like to play some Smash4 online. Is there a way to go into the Internet settings without a working gamepad screen?
My Gamepad itself works, the only thing id that I can't see whats on the Gamepad, since the screen crackedNo, as far as I'm aware, the entire Settings Menu requires the gamepad.

Yeah, why can't I use a wiimote or somethingWelp, you better hope you click on the right thing then. Nintendo really screwed Wii U owners with having to need the gamepad for every little thing. It's honestly quite a hassle.

I tried, but it won't work. It shows me an error message, but I can't see what it says. I'll replace the screen next month anywayIs there a way you can look up images of the set up process (or video) to be able to know where each option is on the game pad? If you can't see but the stuff still operates as normal then it might be possible. Is the same as walking down the hallway with yout eyes closed, you just need memorization.

It's easy. Just buy a new screen and replace it. Just take the old one out, and replace it with the new one. Its just a ribbon cable that you need to connectIs it that easy? Even here gamepad are known to be irreplaceable, since they are only sold with the console.
oh but does anyone besides nintendo make replacement screens for local retail service? It's easy. Just buy a new screen and replace it. Just take the old one out, and replace it with the new one. Its just a ribbon cable that you need to connect

I can't break it further so I don't really care about breaking someting. My Wii u is useless without that Gamepad.Wow, your smart, i would be scared to open my stuff and break something.
Thats a point well made. But i mean still some games can be play without game pad, but if you want that internet connection, your right,I can't break it further so I don't really care about breaking someting. My Wii u is useless without that Gamepad.
The only game I can really play is Smash4. I broke my Gampad 2 days after I bought Mario Maker and Xenoblade X. I couldn't even really play those.Thats a point well made. But i mean still some games can be play without game pad, but if you want that internet connection, your right,
