My Gamepad screen broke, and I would like to play some Smash4 online. Is there a way to go into the Internet settings without a working gamepad screen?

My Gamepad itself works, the only thing id that I can't see whats on the Gamepad, since the screen cracked

Welp, you better hope you click on the right thing then. Nintendo really screwed Wii U owners with having to need the gamepad for every little thing. It's honestly quite a hassle.

Yeah, why can't I use a wiimote or something

Is there a way you can look up images of the set up process (or video) to be able to know where each option is on the game pad? If you can't see but the stuff still operates as normal then it might be possible. Is the same as walking down the hallway with yout eyes closed, you just need memorization.

I tried, but it won't work. It shows me an error message, but I can't see what it says. I'll replace the screen next month anyway

Thats a point well made. But i mean still some games can be play without game pad, but if you want that internet connection, your right, :yayu:
The only game I can really play is Smash4. I broke my Gampad 2 days after I bought Mario Maker and Xenoblade X. I couldn't even really play those.
