Homebrew problem with ntr debugger

whenever i try to use ntr debugger on my pc when i press connect it just freezes for a minute and says
A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond what should i do im on 11.xx

Did you follow the guide on how to set it up? (its on the github page for ntr cfw under the wiki tab)
edit: also, what cfw are you using? it might be relevant, and someone else is probably going to come along and ask later most likely...

Are you enabling the debugger from your ds beforehand? And are you sure it is the correct IP? I have seen this error before in ntr debugger, but I cant reproduce it atm :/

If restarting your router/ds doesn't solve the issue, I'm not really sure what would tbh.

i tried using another 3ds its working im assuming problem is with console

Do you have the correct ntr.bin and bootntr.cia installed?

Here's some things you can try:
1. Delete all existing networks on your 3DS besides the one your computer is using.
2. Type the connect command in correctly if you haven't done so before (I had this problem and felt stupid.) Let's say the 3DSs IP was "192.168.1.111", the command would be "connect('192.168.1.111', 8000)"
3. Check if you actually have internet on these devices.
