Hacking where the 3ds original game cartridge CART-ID

please anyone can tell me where the where the 3ds original game cartridge CART-ID stay? i had used powersave just can find only private header. so anyone help me CART-ID remark place for easy find it in game original cartridge.

Never had to use private header, sorry . Maybe google has some info

Go to the Sky3DS website, then "Download" page, find the latest template file and download it.

For each game, you want to look for the 8 characters right after the 8 first zeroes.

For example, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS (USA)(Rev02), which is CTR-P-AXCP, will be:

Mario Kart 7 (Rev01)(USA), which is CTR-P-AMKE, will be:

And so on.

EDIT: BTW, you are looking for the chip ID, not the cart ID, IIRC.

I don't know. The chip ID is not a unique ID (it's only unique for each game), so you can just use the method I gave you. That's what I used to do to set my private headers extracted with Powersaves for my Sky3DS, never had an issue.

Yes, I used to extract Unique IDs from original game cartridges with Powersaves (now I use CIAs, which are better IMO but you need to install a CFW for that).

In order to avoid bans, the Unique ID is the most important thing (also called Cart ID. I think that's what you call "Flash ID", right?)

The tutorial also explains how to use both the Cart ID (Unique ID) and the Chip ID to create the final private header to avoid bans.

I just understand some above, but Unique ID can we call private header that has 32 digit right ? About the CART-ID just has 8 digit right? FLASh-ID has 8digit too. But all above I need find in original cartridge extra from powersave. I don't want use public header and cart with flash id too. Can you tell me how too find in extra when use with HxD?

So:

• Yes, Unique ID is what you also call private header and is 32 characters long
• Yes, Cart ID is 8 characters long
• Cart ID is not unique for every game cartridge, it is the same for all the cartridges of a game (for example, all Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate cartridges for EUR region have the same), so it's NOT something you need to extract from YOUR cartridge

I guess the Flash ID you are talking about is the EEPROM ID in the picture, right? If so:

• You can take the Cart ID and the EEPROM ID of the game from the Sky3DS template file, they are NOT unique for each game cartridge.

To summarize:

• You only need to extract the Unique ID (32 characters long) using Powersaves. Do NOT bother with Cart ID, EEPROM ID or whatever other ID.

Are you using a Sky3DS for this? If yes, what you need to change is the global template file, not a config file.
If you are using a Gateway, I can't help you with that, sorry. I only ever owned and used a Sky3DS.

But yes, you get the idea:

Private header = playing online without problems
Public header = risk of Nintendo temporarily banning you

If it's a Sky3DS+ then yes, that's how you have to do it. Just keep it like that, no need to change the Cart ID. Only change it if you get the 002-0123 error).

For 002-0102, a Google search returns this thread. Yes, it means that your friend was banned for playing online with a public header (and will probably be unbanned after 2 or 3 weeks).

Error 002 0123 is cause by chip-ID, but need to change 1st 2 characters or need change all 8 characters ? Can I copy from sky3ds.com template.txt past to cfg file when I got error code above? nintendo will ban or not if I do as this?
