Can we please get a FAQ up in the OP? There's so many repeat questions in this thread, it would be great if we could create a FAQ that answers all of them.
I'm working on one but I had IRL work today and tomorrow although I'll power through for Sunday as a due date
 
I do this, take the packed file, put it in D:\0005000010144F00\patch\data\ui\result (I'm using TS4M's modpack so I have most of the directories already) Whenever I boot the game and complete a match, the game get's stuck on the slow-mo section and never loads the results, anything I'm doing wrong?

You must place the entire content of \export\release\ inside x:\\0005000010144F00\patch\
 
It may be the icons, but there are variations for all the costumes, so I don't think they're for that. It's not the big csps at the bottom as those are stored in chr_13.
I was actually wondering this too. Originally I thought it may be the CSPs that 8-player smash uses, but it turned out that it uses the same file as the results screen.

I guess the really best way to test if it's leftover unused files or not is to just edit the texture to have a bright red noticable streak all over it, import it, and go through the game and find out where it is.
 
I need help. For some reason, all DLC characters are missing Battle Portraits, Stock icons, and End result portraits. Anyone have a fix?
 
Erm....

This may sound a little unlike me, and I want Daisy as a seperate character in the next game....

How do I inject Daisy's model and voice onto Peach's 2nd costume?
 
Ugh...my game still gets a splash screen frozen everytime I add the textures and load up the game. I can tell you all the steps I did again.

I downloaded a texture hack.
It was a mario hack, which had a c05 file in it.
I opened up SmashExplorer.
I re-placed the c05 folder, with the one my texture skin came with.
I bulit the mod.
I opened the export folder, opened realese and the files that were in there, I copied it into my sd card, which does have the TS4M files in there.
I replaced the files that were in the patch folder.
I take out my SD.
Put it in my wii u and load up SDCaffine after loading the kernel exploit.
I load up my game and it freezes in the spash screen.

Does anyone know what i'm doing wrong? Pls help.

data/ui/replace/append

Then drag it into the replace folder. This makes their CSPs merge with where the default character ones are located and makes them show up.

I lunched SSB on loadiine gx2 with SDCafiine. But SSB does not start.
Does not SDCafiine run with loadiine?
Do you have any solution?
