I just found a 1.0.0-00J nand dump using google, not sure if it is fake or not, I can't download it now.
After this, get Cubic Ninja.
i refuse to not abuse smileys
Yes you can... You only need that shit if your firmware version is above 9.2 and thus can't use yellow8's exploit to get a custom firmware going and then a downgrade to 2.1. OP clearly has a console much lower than 9.2.You can't dump otp without cubic ninja. Oot doesn't work

sell it for $$$ years laterGot it from ebay for Christmas from bro, was sealed with two clear round stickers. Started it up and had ver 1.0, turned off wifi and all that stuff, have not played anything obviously. But I really want to use it now, what should I do though? Should I update to 4.2? With the luigis mansion (might be wrong, have not been here for years) and use gateway? Man I had so much fun with the DS, the most comfy moments in my life, can't wait to play and see what is available.
It's not the ram clearing the real problem, but it's that they protected the otp region with sysprot9, and not with the kernel anymore. Is One Time Programmable Memory (OTP), It can't be overwritten and have a size of 32*4 Bytes, it have the common key, boot1 hash (for that we can't change boot1, it's hardware-written the hash), nand key, random seed... and other things.
In version 3.0 nintendo cleared ram after booting, making inaccesible the OTP content, however in New3DS a flaw was discovered, but idk if someone had achieved the content yet.
Correct me if I'm wrong please.
So, OP, any news about that v1.0 3DS?
Want me to mail you my copy of Cubic Ninja? You can use it to dump the NAND. After that, you'd have to update the system and downgrade it so you can get the xorpads for the NAND. I can help with that too.still sitting in the closet collecting dust.

.. Just promise me you'll mail it back!
Oh man why isn't there a dislike button on GBAtemp.Update and play.
Why is fate like thisYou can't play OoT if you install the hack cause of payload size, also, you need a hacked 3DS or Savedongle.
With Cubic Ninja you can still play the game and you don't need a hacked 3DS or Savedongle to do the job.
1.0.0 doesn't have a browser, how are you going to run 2xRSA?Hey, what about 2xRSA? Wouldn't that exploit work on 1.0? That would mean not having to upgrade, which might save some data that would be helpful dumped. Because we'd need OP to get Cubic Ninja anyway for code execution, we should just get a 2xRSA payload working on 1.0.0.
You said it yourself, it's one-time programmable. There's no way it would change.Hey guys! For the sake of saving time, we're thinking of dumping the NAND/OTP on 1.0, get to 9.2 by any means, then get the Xorpads.
However, I just want to verify something to stay safe: Am I missing anything else before updating the system? Can we flash the 1.0 back on and have nothing altered, including the OTP? Can that OTP dump from 1.0 allow us to install A9LH directly after setting up menuhax, or is the 2.x downgrade to dump the OTP still necessary? (Like, does the OTP change afterward? I know it's "One-Time Programmable memory," but I hear stuff about it changing after doing stuff...)
It's not Ninjhax.I thought Ninjhax didnt work on the lower firmwares? The lowest selectable firmware on the Ninjhax website is 4.0.0-7.
