I should of read what I was doing when I got to this process.. is there anyway to restart it?

Restart the process of installing aureinand? Just delete all the Aureinand files from your sd card and start over.

Edit: If you just want to change some configurations, then just press select on boot.

Is this ok? O3DSXL. No emuNAND at all. Only decrypt9 as payload.

So, 5.0 is brilliant, but it seems to have broken DSi games for me. N3DSXL sysnand 10.7; tried it with n3ds speedup on and off, reinstalled the DSi game (Shantae), just hangs on a black screen until forced down. Anyone else try this?

Thank you! Didn't know it was so simple, is there essentially a guide for which to "x"

Try waiting 10 or so secounds. It depends on how big your SD is. Also, what is the path your AuReiNand bin file?

Iirc, if you update a N3ds without FIRM patching you'll brick, but if you do it with an O3ds it won't. I forget the reason though.
A bit late -

The n3ds, unlike the o3ds, has an actual arm9loader that verifies the integrity of the FIRM0/1 partitions. If you update it'll override arm9loaderhax but FIRM0/1 will still be corrupted.

Therefore, booting will fail.

If you have a boot manager you need to use the path changer

OHHHHH, that's right! Thanks for explaining, I'd heard about that but had completely forgotten it existed.

So I recently switched from AuReiNand emunand a9lh to updated sysnand and removed my emunand partition. I'm under the impression that AuReiNand auto patches AGB to be able to run GBA games. I'm still getting a black screen no matter which gba cia I install.

You have the newest aureinand?

Did you already have the twl/agb stuff patched on the nand? I'm pretty sure that conflicts
I did not. I patched AGB after upgrading to 5.0 and updated sysnand. I'm about to redownload the original agb through 3dnus and reinstall that. Or shouldn't I?

Ya put the original un patched on it as I'm pretty sure patched conflicts with what aureinand is doing now

I installed the original from 3dnus, for new 3ds, with FBI to nand. No go :( still black screen and I have to hold power to shut down.
