So I had loadiine and everything working before spoofing and even after spoofing I play loadiine a few times with no problem. I left my wii on standby for a couple of hours and when I came back nothing was working. When trying to load the kernel I only get a white screen.same with loadiine. Ive tried several different avenues like host file on PC and Android. loading websites like wj44, and wiiubrew with no luck. Has anyone found a solution to this? or had the same problems

It was until i spoofed it, then i didnt think it would be a problem since it thought it was updated.
Is that where i went wrong?

After the spoof you must need to set tubehax again because the wii u still wants to update the system even if its spoofed already. And if a new update will come you will be safe too.

Something similar happened to me. I always ended up with a frozen white screen with the wiiu logo on the bottom right corner. Turns out the latest version of loadiine can only be executed via the homebrew launcher. Copy both apps to your SD (Hombrew Launcher and Loadiine), then visit this site: wiiubru.com

Thats how I got it to work again.

PS: You must visit the site twice.

try accessing eshop from home menu
Im guessing that it was updated because it was allowed :(

Browser version? And if you have access to eShop with no NNU patcher used i guess you are on the real 5.5.1
Yeah I have access

Like others have said, I would just power off the system completely. Then power back on and try to load up the eshop. If it loads up fine then you are no longer on 5.3.2.

You MUST still use TubeHax even when spoofed or your Wii U will automatically update. I'm betting that's what happened.

Big BUMMER dude. Sorry to hear it.

This is my question, to grab game updates from Eshop wouldn't Tubehax DNS block us from entering it? Do we have to be quick about it when we grab game updates?

I'm afraid to spoof, because I don't know how it would end up when I had to go and grab the game updates. These online games are throwing out so many updates too.

Edit: Don't we install game updates using something like WUPInstaller? I'm thinking of spoofing, but I wanted to know how easy it is to manage not updating.

If you are spoofing, you are supposed to use WUPinstaller to install game updates.

you don't get game updates from eShop. They are downloaded when you launch a game and it sees an available update. Yes when spoofed you use wupinstaller to update retail games

@AncientBoi, Yeah, believe you can do PSP games as well. But a Pi5 is much powerful in comparison.

Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Other games I can have turned up to like 2X and all kinds of enhancements, Motorstorm hmmm nope 1X and no enhancements lol

I will admit that one does seem more interesting than the usual Ambernic ones, and I already liked those.

This looks like one of their premium models, so... $150 :glare:

    To me that seems reasonable.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I mean since basically all the games are errmmm free lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.

I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
  • Veho @ Veho:
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
yes that's the expensive part lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean sure it's flexible and stuff but so is uremum but it's fiddly.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I want everything served on a plate plz ktnx, "work" is too much work for me.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Hmm, with that in mind, maybe a complete out-the-box solution with all the games collected, pacthed and optimized for me would be worth $150
