But then the people on this firmware get the Kexploit. Nintendo are digging their own graves, the longer they leave it, the worse the damage once it comes (since it will be supported on way more versions). As long as we're patient it's a win win.
Except for the fact that the Wii U is dying and the interest in a homebrew scene is starting to follow suite.

No exploit = no reason to patch
No patch = people won't release the exploit
Why is that so difficult to understand? Better yet, why don't people come to this conclusion on their own?

Also, what damage is there if the exploit is released when all official support, software releases and homebrewer interest are dead? The wiiu is nearly at the end of it's lifespan.

Except for the fact that the Wii U is dying and the interest in a homebrew scene is starting to follow suite.

Exactly

If someone announces an exploit without releasing it right then and there, I encourage everyone to do what I will do. Just say it's fake and move on. Don't give it anymore attention. I dont care if they have an HD video, uncut, of the system and display on a glass table so you can see that its legitimately running from a cold booted system. That's the only way this stuff is going to get released anymore.

Well fact basically is that the devs MUST have considered this just as much as we have and tbh if they still feel a someever (unclear) ACTUALLY productive reason to keep it, and don't want to tell it, or in the more questionable case of them ultimately just wanting to teach some beggers a lesson, then so be it. Cemu promises to be good enpugh to play back my gamehacks for me soon and will do the same job as soon as onlineplay is integrated and like everyone is eager to note the whole WiiU-Situation is just about to be over pretty soon, anyways. No need to fret about spoiled milk.
AND no need to rage up each other like some wild mob by posting the same, stupid stuff for the same obvious reasons. (The question why OP asked this here instead of PM is redundant, because clearly all this stuff only has the goal to provoke people out of plain salt, nothing more or less. And the hate is increasing by the minute. You can't seriously expect any kind of actual answer without the fight going along when asking this public, nobody is THAT stupid)

what if nintendo doesn't patch the exploit in the new update? will we need to wait till nintendo patches it?

That's an outrageous statement. I can count the number of good wiiu games on one finger.
Then you have different taste then most people.
Sm4sh, Sploot, MK8, Hyrule Warriors, Pikmin 3, Bayonetta 1 and 2, Zelda WW HD and Wonderful 101 just to name a few, are awesome.
Some people buy an XBOX just for halo, these numbers are better

Nintendo will patch MN1's kexploit anyway, since is not private at all and they wont give a breath to hackers/pirates/homebrew devs, they can't let a flaw in their systems whatever if is not released or not.

I would be gladly willing to actually bet against that.

So you don't own a wiiu, and think there is only one good wiiu game?

Why are you here? Oh, I forgot. Your awesome political skills.

Waiting it out is desperate. Release it now while everyone is on the latest possible firmware. Don't play the damn waiting game, hoping Nintendo catches on. Seems like a damn excuse to me.
Did you actually read my previous posts? It explains exactly why the devs are doing this. Check out the first page, about 3 posts down I think.

according to NWPlayer's twitter she is awaiting a wii u update for today and there is maintenance scheduled for april 6th 5:50pm to 7:30pm, translate the times to your region and wait
