I have been using ctrwaveconverter32 to put songs in project mirai however when I enter the command to convert wave I get this as a outcome
The song i am trying to convert is See the lights which is why it is See.blahblahblah

See.dspadpcm.bcwav

The original file name was
This was what was originally in the file system. The song is sweet magic
PV012_MIX.dspadpcm.bcstm

The second one will load in every file explorer and play sweet magic.

The first one wont load. Now if i add .bcstm to it it still wont play in every file explorer.

Any thoughts?

The original file in the romfs is a CTR stream as stated, right? EFE can convert from .bcstm to .wav, but you'll need a program that converts from .wav to .brstm, then another program from .brstm to .bcstm.
There's one program that does all of this. Here it is.

all I know is it needs to have the dspadpcm I have actually just successfully converter bcwave to bcstm but it got rid of the dspadpcm

You don't need to do anything with CTR wave files. It's like, PV012_MIX.dspadpcm.brstm, right? Then there should be no problems doing exactly what I said.

The converting route is .bcstm > .wav > .brstm > .bcstm
I don't get where the hell you thought .bcwav had to do with anything of this.

I didn't know it had anything to do with this. I just did what the command said and it automatically put bcwave after it

You should have looked for another program that converted from .wav to .bcstm, you would have found the program I linked to on the way there, anyway.

Ah, I forgot to mention on Skype: dspadpcm is actually what the bcstm file is encoded in, if I recall correctly. I may be wrong.

It was easy as pie to convert. :P Winamp can actually stream bcwav files and convert them to wav. Then I just used Every File Explorer to finish off the conversion to bcstm.

(Also, it's a nice song by the way! ^_^)

Anyways, here you go:

i did. Same error
Here's what I did:

1) I packed my edited RomFS using RomFS builder before I did any 3DS file building.

2) after that, I used 3DS builder, making sure I have "Use Pre-built RomFS", "Use Pre-Built ExeFS", and "Media Device: Card 2" all ticked.
2.5) Then I selected the modified RomFS I built earlier, the original ExeFS from the extraction, and the original ExHeader as well.

3) After that, I built the .3DS file, used 3DS to CIA converter 4.1 to convert the built .3DS file into .CIA, and installed it to my 3DS afterwards.

Everything seemed to work smoothly, but unfortunately, the romhack was still somewhat unsuccessful. Dx
