I thought its just a .bin file that anyone can download, but it seems if you want lesshax bad enough you have to dump ninjhax and extract blowfish from it.

*seigh* well I suppose its better than doing nothing.
Hmm? No you were asking where to put the blowfish file right? Put it in the scripts folder from the master. Go to the github page and download the master.

People sometimes. Do you really think that googling blowfish_processed.bin wouldn't lead you to a Pastebin containing the whole key which you just need to copy and save under said filename?

This by the way works for almost any key file needed for anything 3ds related, be it slotkeys or whatever. They're all on Pastebin. All of them. You just need magic Google fingers.

Please don't use the compiles going around and complain about issues, since that is heavily outdated.

I recommend hax 2.6 over this for stability, but if you need a clean boot use @ihaveamac 's 2.7 compiles. If you're having issues with those flag him down and ask him to provide 2.6 no-debug since that seemed to be the most stable.

Maybe it sounds too noob, but I dont know how to compile it in Windows. I know build.sh could be easily run in linux but I am not sure what could I do in windows. Further, I am not sure how should I deal with devkitARM.

Would be grateful if anyone could guide me a bit or to upload a compiled version (for JP/US/EUR console).

Much appreciated!

Sad, it seems that those compiled files are a bit old and outdated.

I got all necessary files in my linux VMware but I cant get devkitARM to work!!!
Even though I already exported devkitARM as instructed, it keeps prompting me to error messages when I run "build.sh" that I have to export devkitARM !!!

Any help would be appreciated or an updated compiled version would certainly be appreciated.

It's not needed as 2.6 fixed the boot issues 2.5 had, not sure about 2.7 though. So compiling this is pointless now.

if you have a new 3ds , with re
The best version of lesshax is ARM9loaderhax, for it has got the fastest boot speeds of them all.

Like everyone has the time on their hands to spend hours risking a brick. I'm sure everyone knows about a9lh by now so stop mentioning it in every discussion.

I have 100% boot rate with menuhax+reinand, so 5 second quicker boot time is not worth the risk for some people.

The guy is kind of being a douche but the most time consuming thing about a9l is the backing up and restoring. You can do other crap while it's doing that. I played xbone and used my PC while I waited. You don't have to give it ur un divided attention, just check in on it every so often.

Alright, I've been using it for a week or two now, and it's kind of strange. It does boot 3-5 seconds faster than with menuhax, which is nice, but it's actually been LESS consistent for me than menuhax ever was. Freezes about 1/8 times for me, whereas menuhax was only around 1/15. I'll keep using it (mainly because I'm too lazy to recreate my old payload), but it's something worth noting.

Not sure if it matters, but I'm using the rxTools payload as less.3dsx and ignoring CTR Boot Manager completely, because I don't really ever have to access anything other than that with menuhax.

O3DSXL, sysNAND 9.2.0U, GW emuNAND 10.7.0U with rxTools.

EDIT: Sure enough, I switched back to standard menuhax, and it boots consistently again.

No, it's actually freezing before the CFW. I know because I have a custom boot image, and every time it freezes that stays on the screen. Because of the lack of any debug output I can't be 100% sure though.

Thanks for the reply!!

Could you point me to the link of the 2.6 and 2.7 payload files you mentioned? I suppose you are talking about ninjhax with menuhax, right?

Correct. You can just grab the ropbin payload for your system from smealum's site and rename it to what menuhax is looking for. That will get you 2.7. Not sure how to get 2.6 at this point.

Sweet of such quick reply!

May I ask, what is the difference between that and this one, here? Which one offers a more consistent boot (which is my main concern)?
