It seems that for many games the result is entirely different from region to region and if a WUD/WUX file is used or the files are extracted from the game.
@ those who can successfully play Mario Kart 8:
Which region's game do you use and do you use extracted files / a single one?
(maybe someone should host a compatibility document; on the official Cemu homepage perhaps?)

Opened Kirby and the Rainbow Curse USA and menus load at 55-60 FPS, when clicking story mode and challenge mode CEMU crashes

I'm sure this will help for anyone who's running on an AMD graphics card updated over 16.3. It works for me, and I'm running on 16.3.2.

To work around the AMD driver issues without fully reverting to an older installation, you can grab just the OGL .dlls from the driver archive here.
Select Driver DLLs -> OpenGL/Vulkan -> version of your choice, 16.2 being the latest working one. Simply extract the files into the main cemu folder and it will work again. Don't forget to delete these files if a future update renders this workaround unnecessary.

I use a EUR 25GB .WUD from "that one chaotic site" along with the title key on the post.

I'm experiencing something weird when playing Super Mario Maker

The WUX version runs fine, solid 60fps on everything

I extracted the game files in order to apply updates to it, and when I play the extracted version it's not a solid 60fps anymore, it's between 40-50 but never solid 60

(it also acts like a completely separate game as it didn't use the save I have on my WUX version)

So I tried the WUX version again just in case, I rebooted my PC and tried both

The WUX version stays at a solid 60fps but the extracted version doesn't (again it's 40-50 but never 60)

I wonder what's the cause of this...
