Hi! I know this is probably a noob question for the most of you, and i have seen some guides, but they aren't that clear on what im about to ask. I have a N3DS on 9.2, a GW on 10.7 on the standard 4gb sd-card, with the profile exploit to run GW. I want to upgrade to a larger SD-card (16gb or so), and is wondering the procedure on how to do this. Do I need to do a system transfer from sysnand, or is it as easy as to just do a 1:1 copy of the SD-card contents to a larger partition? any help would be appreciated as I don't want to mess this up.

Create a new emunand via gateway menu in your new SD and transfer the emunand on 10.7 to the new partition with emunandtool in you pc.
Then copy all old SD contents to new SD, and you're good to go.

1. Backup emunand from 4GB card using EMUNAND9 on 3DS or emunandTool on PC
2. Copy necessary *hax files for your preferred entrypoint (and EMUNAND9 if you prefer using it) into the new card
3. Put in the new microSD and set up your menuhax
4. Set up new emunand partition with GW menu or EMUNAND9
5. Once new emunand partition is created, copy everything from the old card to the new card (plus the emunand.bin backup if you're planning to restore using EMUNAND9)
6. Restore emunand from backup using EMUNAND9 on 3DS or emunandTool on PC

FYI, EMUNAND9 creates GW-compatible emunands by default.

Oops, I haven't been using my GW menu lately, so it is kinda fuzzy.

Just checked, and yeah GW menu doesn't have emunand backup function. Use EMUNAND9 on 3DS or emunandTool on PC to backup your emunand. Fixed the guide above.
