Hello,

I have just recently set up rxTools for emunand. I downloaded a Flipnote Studio 3D CIA from that one ISO site for the 3DS (which now happens to be down for me for some reason). When I opened the archive, there were two CIA files:

Flipnote Studio 3D (eshop) (Japan) (RF)
Flipnote Studio 3D 1.3.1 (eshop) (Japan)

I didn't know what to install, so I installed the first one. When I did that, everything seemed to go right. It showed up on my home screen with the logo and the banner, but when I clicked on it, it showed the black "an error has occurred screen". I installed this on emuNAND 9.2, before I updated to 10.6. I even tried installing the other CIA file as well, but it did not show up on my home screen.

How do I fix this and how can I delete the bad application from my emuNAND?

Try launch it with NTR (with the plugin language -> more info on that iso site). To erase it --> FBI --> Search the unique title ID of Flipnote studio 3D --> delete it!!

I don't think this is the Japanese version though. The title and everything is in English. By the way, what is NTR? I don't think I have heard of it. Do I install it on top of rxTools?

Are you on an EUR 3DS? Because the RegoinFree patch doesn't work on Flipnote. Trust me, I tried. :'(
It's works for me...

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

So does this mean I have to uninstall rxTools? Or can I keep both on?

And they will both launch into the same emuNAND?
When your emunand is started, launch the ntr cia (so, keep both).

Uhh OK. I haven't installed it yet, bug my actual emuNAND is on 10.7, not 10.6 (USA). Is NTR supported for this version?

Where do I need to put the firmware.bin? Putting it on the root still fails.
Read the OP please!

How to use:
- If using Arm9LoaderHax, unpack the arm9loaderhax.bin to the root of the SD card.
- Else copy ReiNand.dat to the root of the SD card and the 3dsx/smdh to the appropriate folder. If using menuhax and you don't wish to use a boot manager (such as BootCtr and CtrBootManager), you can use the boot.3dsx from the menuhax folder. Copy it to the root of the SD.
In all cases, copy the rei folder to the root of the SD card, and put the firmware.bin in it. New and Old 3DSes have different firmwares!
a) You can use the latest FIRM (the 10.4 one). They are in the rei-n3ds and rei-o3ds folders in the FIRMs.7z.
b) If, instead, you need to use NTR CFW, the 9.6 FIRM for Old3DS and the 10.2 FIRM for New3DS are needed. They are in the rei-n3ds and rei-o3ds folders inside the "NTR" folder in the FIRMs.7z."

I already have a working firmware.bin in rei. I use ReiNand as my emuNand CFW. But NTR gives me this error:

Code:
openProcess failed: d9001818
current firmware not supported.
please send feedback to
 [email protected]
kversion: 02320900
bnBootNTR failed
Press Home button to return to the menu.

Can you answer my question please? I have rxTools emuNAND on 10.7, will NTR work or do I have to downgrade my emunand to 9.2?

If your internet speeds are fast enough. Streaming 4k takes alot. I used to only have 20mb sec, and 4k struggled. Now I have 300mb sec and 4k plays fine.

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

They went all in on streaming, should have been more of a hybrid approach

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
