Hacking Remove ARM9 Loader Hax?

I would like to swap the nands on my n3DS, but it seems that I need to remove the ARM9 Loader Hax I have installed. But I can not manage to launch D9 or GW ron restore the NAND backup. Any help?

You say that you cannot run Decrypt9. I would assume that's because you're running on 9.6-10.4 FIRM, but you need to be on 9.0-9.2 FIRM for Decrypt9 to work. As long as you have 9.2 emuNAND or sysNAND to boot into, AuReiNAND will be able to boot with 9.0-9.2 FIRM. The instructions are in the release.

You need to update your arm9loaderhax with dark-samus' installer.bin (rename it to arm9loaderhax.bin). This will enable screen init. Then you can use Shadow's decrypt9WIP a9lh port and restore your sysnand.bin. Search for the files in the a9lh discussion page

I did not see that, I'll have to look.

I attempted to downgrade my emu to 9.2 and my sys is on 9.0, but the only firms I can get to work kick me out of D9 and into the launcher.

I backed up both sysNAND and emuNAND (full backups) then used D9 to backup each partition of emuNAND, excluding firm0/firm1 (as that's where a9lh resides)

Cloned sysNAND to emuNAND then injected the emuNAND partitions to sysNAND.

Strange it should work just fine as Logan's your holding the correct button on boot to load 9.0 firm

It boots 9.0 FIRM (firmware90.bin on your SD)

Yep it's on there and on my console it boots 9.2

FIRM is not always updated with every system version. When devs talk about loading a firmware image they refer to the version that particular FIRM was provided with, not the system version the NAND is on. Thus holding L loads 9.0 FIRM because 9.2 uses the same 9.0 FIRM, like 10.3 uses the 10.2 FIRM and 10.6 uses 10.4's FIRM.
