Did anything not install correctly?

I used safesysupdater and it said every cia file was good. It was installing the cia files and then gave me a error to turn off then on my 3ds.

Did it say it on the bottom screen? Because if it did then I'm assuming you've got frankenfirmware and not every cia was installed.

It did say on the bottom screen and i dont know what is frankenfirmware. (Im on 9.8)

That was quoted from Daxtsu's glossary.

Basically parts of your system are screwed up now. Ex. Your Settings menu

You have three options from what I can tell. The first is to try updating your system with a 3ds game on a higher firmware than you tried to install.

Well i have a sky3ds, so is there a list of games that say what firmware they have?

Spmd for 9.9, bravely default for 9.8, paper jam bros for 10.1...

The only one with 10.3.0 is fire emblem fates special edition. Could i use that?

Yes that's fine

BTW it doesn't really matter what firmware you're updating to, just as long as it isn't above 10.3

Cant find the rom but ill just try with another game, thanks for the help.

Btw when you start the game, it just tells you to update?

When push comes to shove, use recovery mode. Unless your wifi is off then you cant.

i have downgraded to 9.2 but a friend of mine started ssb on sysnand and the game told him to update to 9.7, he said yes and now i tried to downgrade again but it doesn't work (it does like on 10.5 with the purple dots in the screen corner)

Me Too. Is it posible to use ninjhax?

Yes it is, but don't use safesysupdater, it seems to make more bricks! Checking the md5's on the pc is better.
