I'm just hoping (if possible and if he's up for it) Rei can add sysNAND into ReiNAND. Since having to change between payloads to access different NANDs would get annoying.

I've just noticed something that 3D works without closing lid with arm9loaderhax
That's because everything is executed before the screen has been initialized.

Yeah :P I was surprised when the 3D worked without closing the lid.

I really want the new hack but im kinda scared of proceeding since n3ds has a higher brick rate
Just take your time, no need to rush. An updated guide is currently being worked on (apparently it'll be more safer).

Once a ctrbootmanager comes to play we will see... to explain... no one can load the LCD before firm loads YET. Someone is working on that who is very close to me.

Really? :D

Says who?
I thought multiple people said it was easier to brick a n3ds :(

That's what I've been told at least. There's currently no ETA on when it'll be ready, and there's also no confirmation whether it'll be safe enough to claim a hardmod won't be needed, it'll probably just be a little bit safer.

No the only thing with the higher brick rate that I've read on the top guide is the 2DS as people are having issues even downgrading it to 2.1,the n3ds seems to be good to downgrade if you follow instructions precisely and have a hard mod just in case you do brick. Supposedly a safer downgrading method is being worked on though.

Nah, I wouldn't really say downgrading was the risky part on the 2DS. More like updating it. My 2DS downgraded to 2.1 fine, it was updating it with the gamecart that bricked it.

Ah,i don't see a real reason to downgrade a o3ds or 2DS to 2.1 yet as no cfw will work with a9lh just yet and probably won't for months now, by the time we can use this new launch method with sysnand a much more safer downgrade and upgrade method will have arrised I bet.
