Hello guys,
i read a lot of posts but i don't find an exact answer..

I have an N3DS [EUR] with RxTools and Emunand unlinked 9.2

I can't play online because i need the last firmware...
So what should i do for get the last firmware on Emunand?

I read that RxTools doesn't support the latest version, is true?
And if is true, how should i switch on another CFW?

Thanks :)

RxTools does work now on the latest emuNAND, but it's really buggy (just going off the number of posts asking why it's freezing or not working). ReiNand and Cakes are totally stable, and a much better choice for N3DS. You may as well switch as you would have to update rxtools anyway. Probably less effort to just switch.

What should i choose between? Advantages Reinand Vs Cakes? :)

n3ds use reinand. then, while in emunand, just do a system update

So for update and switch CFW... should i update first the emunand with rxtool and then, install the new CFW? I'm a totaly a newbie about it :)

"Just do a system update" means going into system settings, making sure you're in emuNAND by looking at the version string, NOT exiting settings, going to other settings then choosing System Update. It does not involve responding to a prompt on the home menu or in the eShop, as that would update your real system.

Just thought I'd clarify just in case.

PS also I believe Cakes doesn't change the version string, so that's a good reason to choose ReiNand over cakes.

No, get ReiNand first. Otherwise when you try to boot into emuNAND you'll get a black screen and you'll have to revert to a backup.

So if i understand...
Step 1: Going into Settings of Emunand -> Update the N3DS with the Updater of Nintendo (in Emunand)
Step 2: Remove the folder of RxTool from SD card
Step 3: Place the folder of the latest version of Reinand on Sd Card
Step 4: Launch Reinand with the Home Brew Launcher that i start from System Nand

Am i rights? :)

No, better to make sure ReiNand works before updating emuNAND, otherwise you could get stuck as rxtools will just boot into a black screen. If you haven't checked ReiNand definitely works you might not be able to get back into emuNAND and will have to restore a backup.

So are these steps rights? :)

Step 1: Remove the folder of RxTool from SD card
Step 2: Place the folder of the latest version of Reinand on Sd Card
Step 3: Check if HBL -> Reinand -> Boot the Emunand rights (as the Rxtools did before)
Step 4: Going into Settings of Emunand -> Update the N3DS with the Updater of Nintendo (in Emunand)
Step 5: Launch Reinand with the Home Brew Launcher that i start from System Nand

Yep that's right. You don't have to remove rxtools folder but it shouldn't do any harm

Thanks a lot ^^

Last question: Where can i find the last version of Reinand to put on my Sd Card?
I looked on the official repository (https://github.com/Reisyukaku/ReiNand) but i find only the source code... not the files to put on my Sd Card

Thanks ^^
