Hi guys

I am on 10.1 clean new system and i just tried to access browserhax and got the browser update nag (and it returned me to home) Browser Nag.. ..

Does Format System Memory force an update? ( Wondering if that would let me try the browser again?).. It wants me to connect to the wifi if i press Format System Memory (This is all on SysNand)

THANKS

Accessing browserhax is a pain when the nag is there. However, the block only happens once it can contact Ninty's servers, so if you can time it, you have 30 seconds to access it. I managed to access it on a 9.9E system and then downgraded it to 9.2E

Thanks, are you sure that isn't patched in 10.1? I am trying via clear all save data, set up a bookmark, or using the QR code method. I do all of them straight away from a cold boot. Thanks all for help.

This is what I did - pulled from another thread

turn off wifi

-start browser and input the web address for webhax
-bookmark the address
-this will give the message stating the wifi is off
-reboot 3ds
-turn on wifi
-tap browser as soon as the 3ds turns on
-tap the bookmark and spam the reload button
-exploit should start

I quoted that post so you could see my reply. I know its for N3DS's but as I said, he didnt specify. Plus I dont think you can get brand new O3DS on 10.1
Lol maybe not, i'm not sure though (if you're, good to know). I just said it doesn't work for o3ds so he (and anyone else that reads it, just like that other guy who actually were going to try it with his 10.1 o3ds) wouldn't waste his time trying in case he has one, i wasn't trying to invalidate your post, just complement it

Just an idea.. Could i use my CFW N3DS to load my OOT cart with OOTHAX then use that on my 10.1 O3DS? Thanks!

Yes, just run homebrew and xploit_installer, when prompted for the fw version you should choose the 10.1

Sad face

O3DS 10.1 with browser nag

I launch OOTHAX and find Link in the room before it kicks me to Home and "an error has occurred"

I used OOTHAX offline and the payload for my Sys-Version. It appears the OOTHAX went to the cart correctly.

Any ideas?

Thank you!
