I have Gateway EmuNAND 3.7.1 on 10.4, I see there's a new system update. Is it okay to update the EmuNAND?

As for updating to 10.5, I am currently on 10.4, Just backed up my emunand, and now I'm going to try to update to 10.5,

You can restore your 10.4 emunand if you did a backup before updating
