Thanks for uploading the v10 files! I installed a 1.2 patch with the v10 files and it's working beautifully.

I'm alittle confused, so do we run the cia update then we run the patched one from that iso site?

The patched 1.2 update is just the 1.2 update with the translation patch. It updates your game to 1.2 AND applies the v10 patch. you don't need the normal 1.2 update and it doesn't matter what you had installed before.

So I need to find the Region free 1.2 Update.cia and then run the tutorial on Page 1...... add the files you provide, recreate the .cia and install that over my game and that's it? D= I guess the "Region Free 1.2 Update" cia is on that iso site so I get it from there and do everything I just said right?

correct. If you don't succeed doing it yourself there should also be already patched on at that location ;)

If you have already a once prepared update cia that was decrypted,
you can use this as a base without decrypting it again with theese
few simple steps:

Tools used:

ctrtool
3dstool
makerom

exinjector
RomFS Builder

Extract an already decrypted cia:

1. ctrtool --contents=out <name of cia>.cia
2. 3dstool -x -t cxi --file <bigger fileoutput from ctrtool> --logo logo.bin --extendedheader exheader.bin --exefs exefs.bin --romfs romfs.bin
3. ctrtool -t exefs --exefsdir=. exefs.bin --decompresscode
4. 3dstool -x -t romfs --romfs-dir romfs -f romfs.bin

Rebuild the cia file:

1. Use RomFS Builder to rebuild your romfs.bin
2. makerom -f cxi -o <name of cxi>.cxi -rsf mhx_update.rsf -target t -desc ecapp:3 -exheader exheader.bin -logo logo.bin -exefslogo -code code.bin -romfs romfs.bin -icon icon.bin
3. exinjector -rom <name of cxi>.cxi -exheader exheader.bin
4. makerom -f cia -target t -content <name of cxi>.cxi:0:0 -o <name of your final update>.cia -minor 2

Per default, the update is 1.2 (major.minor), 'RemasterVersion' in RSF sets the major version.

I've attached the RSF file (remove the .txt).

Thanks for your guide! I am having problems with the .exe since they state that I can't use them with my computer Windows 10 since they are 16bit exes and my computer is 64 bits... what do I do there? :S

It should work normaly even if they are 16bit as i'm on win7 64bit, i don't use
windows 10 and will never be, so i can't realy help if it doesn't work in compatibility mode.

Depending what tool isn't working, you can ask in the right thread to it for help.

Nah I'll just cut the crap and do it in a W7 x64 machine :P thanks a lot, I'll continue from there since I've already have the decrypted .cia now I need to do all those things you say on the previous post :P
Will this be the same every time a new update arises?

Thanks for your help =)
