Hacking Help with Downgrade please

[SOLVED] HELP i tried to downgrade my N3DS from 9.9.0.26U and i did all the steps for downgrade ninjhax (instead of browserhax)-> install menuhax-> return to HBL, turn it off, i held L but nothing happened, so i ran ninjhax again, and it got stuck on the ropbin "something"-> reset CN save data-> ran the qr code again-> opened the HBL-> now safesys had the logo right-> ran the brony something-> press b button to exit-> ran safesysupdater -> press y -> then it started to say succeed and stuff but then it said error something please turn off your system and i turned it off and now when i turned it on it is on a black screen. what did i did wrong? did i just bricked it?

now i can turn it on but only if i take off the sd card, but i cant open the system settings it stucks at the nintendo3ds screen :c

did you install homemeu hax ?
well everybody will tell you to enter recovery mod and update , but you will be updating to 10.4 and right now no way to downgrade it
you can always try to run sysupdater again , it will downgrade the files that didn't downgrade before the error , or use downgrade check to see what titles aren't ok(did you check that the update files are same region as your 3ds?)

So what I'm gathering here is, your 3ds errored during the update and, with the SD card out, will boot but won't launch certain apps? First things first, you have menuhax installed for 9.9 and the home menu seems to have been downgraded, so the payload probably needs to be changed to work on 9.2.

If all of that goes well then retry the downgrade to completely get your system working again good luck

Sounds like an incomplete downgrade. Try downgrading again if you can access the homebrew launcher. Don't update until you run out of options or you'll end up on 10.4

ok thank you, i did every step from this guide https://gbatemp.net/threads/the-easy-complete-comprehensive-cfw-guide-for-everyone.408685/ from 0.2b.0 onwards the only thing that i changed is that instead of using browserhax, i used ninjhax because browserhax doesnt work on 9.9.0.26U so i did every step.

till the step 0.2b17 because i turned my n3ds again and pressed L (menuhax) but it didnt open the HBL (but i had a pink dot on the theme options), so i tried to run HBL again with Ninjhax (but the save data exploit didnt work, so i reset cubic ninja data and tried to open hbl scanning the qr code again, so i turned on the internet for it to work again) then when i was on HBL again the icon of safesys didnt have the question mark "?" so i proceed to open the ftbrony and then i press b and it returned me to the HBL menu, and then i open the safesys and everything was fine until i got an error that said that i need to turn off the n3ds. but when i tried to turned it on again both screens were black so i turned it off again and i removed the sd card, and when i turned it on again it bring me to the home menu, but when i tried to open settings to check if i was on 9.2 it got stuck on nintendo 3ds logo :c

You should try starting everything from scratch. Is it possible or are you unable access HBL anymore?

Home menu is really all that matters and based on the menuhax not working it looks like he has the 9.2 home menu meaning all he needs to do is install the 9.2 payload and start the downgrade again

Home menu is really all that matters and based on the menuhax not working it looks like he has the 9.2 home menu meaning all he needs to do is install the 9.2 payload and start the downgrade again

You may need to re install it this time selecting 9.2 since some parts of your 3ds were downgraded.

got it thanks so now i install menuhax> ftbrony > safesys again? (safesys has te 3ds icon again)

or should i open safesys only?

EDIT: DONE!!! thank you very much to everyone!!!!!, i was almost crying! because i just receive this n3ds for xmas and my dad was going to kill me!! lol, i did menuhax (didnt work again so i used ninjhax)>ftbrony>safesys again and then it flash a second and went to black screen, so i turned it off and when i turned it on again i was o 9.2.0-20U THANK YOU AGAIN and sorry for my bad english :c

try to run an application called "downgrade check" to check that everything is ok
if you get any errors you can then stat hbl and run minipasta and install the missing system cia for your n3ds

then you still aren't finished yet... try clearing the update nag (just try it even if you don't have it) then try the downgrade again

yeah, there's a thread about it somewhere, just boot into recovery and hit the "cancel" button once the screen pops up to update
