Yes.

I'm getting the exact same issue with this.

If I hit the power button, I get the typical power off menu, if I hit home there it says HOME MENU and keeps on that screen. I have no idea what is going on.
Restore your 9.2 emunand, go to 10.3 with sysupdater, after emunand starts booting hold the keys that you've set to ignore menuhax in sysnand. Then when you end up in the home menu, change your theme.

If you don't want to go to 10.3 with sysupdater, maybe in 9.2 you can uninstall the menuhax with the installer tool. but changing the theme in 9.2 won't get rid of the shuffle based menuhax used for 10.2+ because 9.2 doesn't recognise shuffle.

Am I updating sysnand or emunand to 10.3?

Emunand.
The issue is that before you originally downgraded your sysnand, you were on 10.3 and using menuhax right? That's still configured and has been copied to your emunand when you made it, but it doesn't activate because 10.3 menuhax uses shuffle which isn't available on 9.2. This means that when you update your emunand to 10.4 (which I think patched that menuhax? have seen mixed reports) it runs into your menuhax again and crashes. If you load on 10.3 you can safely bypass and remove it.

Sounds great. It'll take me a few to get everything back to the 9.2 emunand. May as well ask, do I use sysupdater from the emunand? My previous understanding is that if you do that, it will target the sysnand anyway.

Well it worked for me when I booted it from within emunand :o make sure you have the latest version.

I used the cia version of sysupdater by the way, not sure if 3dsx would work.

Any way to actually set this up? I have all the files on my SD (in their respective places, of course) and when I try loading it up all I get is either a black screen, a red bottom screen, or a one-time loop followed by one of those two screens.

I need some advice I'm trying to figure out if I should stay with rx tools on 9.5 emunand. Or switch over to Reinand ? Which one is better to run cia 's and better compability with newer games.
