it's a digital Claw crane machine to grab icons that you can put them on your home menu.
you pay $1 to get 5 chances.
sometimes you get 1 free play ( every 2 weeks maybe )
and every day you get 5 practice tries on fake icons , when you get a total of 10 fake icons , you get 1 free real try
sometimes there is hidden fake icon that will give 1 or 3 real tries, but those are super rare.

tl'dr : you have to pay for the rabbit.

a word of advice , stay the fuck away from that rabbit, including the one from mii plaza.

Well this makes me sad
Nintendo "gave" me a game(or application, whatever) and then penalizes me for cheating it like there's no tomorrow.
I mean, I knew there were risks... but it's not like I'm stealing from them :/ In fact, I did threw them some bucks a few weeks ago to get some pokemon badges.
I could bet when they let me connect again I will have 62 badges again...

I only find solace in the fact that the badge arcade was the only service they got me suspended.

Wait dang, sorry, my mistake, when I found out I was banned I was on 10.4, in a futile attempt I downgraded to 10.3 and see if I was still banned. I haven't updated since.

I do gotta be only one who says; I appreciate the idea, execution and especially personality put into badge arcade. If nintendo sells themes 2 eur a pop, badges are not exactly ripoff, and you play for them, there is some fun to had with the whole deal and whatever. I will stop cheating myself and if somehow am not banned I for sure will be hard pressed to not pay for few plays if something that I want to put onto my home screen pops up. Just building super mario 8bit levels into your homescreen is fun enough. If you do not want to, cheat, or just don't play nothing away from you. I especially enjoy marking my emulator and virtual console folders with official pixel collection badges though heh!

o3DS XL SSB Edition: rxTools 10.4 Emunand -> Over 300 badges (99 plays cheat only used)
n3DS XL MH4U Edition: GW 10.4 Emunand -> 500+ badges (same cheat only used)

I'm going to wait to see if we ever find a pattern to the bans and if it's ever confirmed it's temp/perm.

I kinda agree with staying legit till we figure it out, but I also don't want to miss out on any of the new badges coming tomorrow when they reset the whole thing

Screw that. I'll never even use 'em, so I'll keep cheating until I'm banned. USA N3DS 10.4 emunand, ONLY cheat for practice plays and free plays. Don't know about the unlock thing people have mentioned and don't care. Paid Twice and used cheat on the paid plays both times (but not since I figured out the free play deal).
