Not sure if this is ReiNAND related, i have never had eShop before (due to 9.5 restrictions)

But am having some problems "re-downloading" games, the first one was The Binding Of Isaac (which i discussed on another thread) and gave up on it as just an anomaly

However just tried it with another game called Darts Up 3D, i deleted the game from my N3DS, entered eShop and it gives me the option to re download the game but every time on completion i get the error 007-6106

Has anyone had any similar eShop problems running on ReiNAND ??

Both games are from my region, so it's not that, i just cant figure it out, it's every game

To test it wasn't a wifi problem i tried downloading a free item, pokemon rumble world which downloaded fine so it's not a wifi issue

My NNID was never registered on my sysNAND only ever on my emuNAND

Are you trying to redownload games you pirated?

they were found on other sites, not purchased

however i have read no other reports from others trying to update in this way

You can't redownload games from the eShop that are pirated. Also, games that update through the eShop itself (Ironfall for example, where it has no update CIAs, per-se) can't be updated that way, either, because they'll try to redownload themselves.

thanks mate, appreciate the clarification, i am new to eShop (yeh i know lol)

is it fair to assume that i could download an update for a "legit" cia ?

sorry that my 2 posts were off topic guys

You can download updates for any game that actually has updates as patches, basically any game that released on a retail cartridge, regardless of whether it is "legit" or not or whether you actually purchased it. The problem with games like Ironfall (and I suspect Binding of Isaac as well) is that when it "updates" it actually just installs a newer version of the same title, where as updates for full retail games like Pokemon or Zelda install under a slightly different title ID.

Take Super Smash Bros. for example.

Game ID: 00040000000EDF00
Update ID: 0004000E000EDF00

Because this game installs its updates under a different TitleID, it can be updated via the eshop.

it is possible to make a port for old3ds ?i want reinand cakesfw and rxtools on my 3ds

Not sure why reinand doesnt work on the O3DS, but I seem to remember it being something about weird ass bugs.

Oh yeah, I meant to tell you that earlier, but I got caught up yesterday. You don't need to do that formatting business with your NNID that someone linked you. BoI indeed tries to redownload the entire game to update itself. For what it's worth, the latest update is available on that iso site.

thanks for the reply and explanation, much appreciated

just formated gateway emunand and trying to boot reinand via homebrew launcher and black screen

help anyone?

The patched agb_firm has to be installed to both the sysnand and emunand, and the destination in FBI has to be set to NAND. To be honest it is easier with DevMenu since that program automatically installs to the proper destination.

The games themselves need to be installed to both sysnand and emunand as well, but I am not sure if they need to be installed to SD or NAND when using FBI. DevMenu will, again, automatically install them to the proper destination.

A tad late I know but, patched agb_firm needs to be installed to both NAND while the GBA games themselves must be in SD not NAND.
Used FBI when I did it.
