Only reason for cheats:
1) The person sucks at the game and can't complete it without cheating
2) The person sucks at the game and can't play online without cheating

3) They beat the game way too many times and want to have fun with it
4) They wanna fuck around with friends
5) Hamburger

There are some more (to me, at least):

3) I want to access debug/beta content
4) I want to use DLCs without having to buy overpriced amiibos

I understand what you are saying but how can it be proven that it hasn't/has been patched?

That is not how the burden of proof works. Since knowledge of how the Wii U works and what was updated leads to the conclusion that it was not patched, the claim that it was patched needs some serious evidence backing it up.

Fair enough... But same with the statement that it wasn't patched in my opinion.

@smealum If only the loader is working, what the problem to release it? IT is clear than all the relase will depend on NVRAM hackonthefly, so, never more a console will be patched, the technique will replace any changes made and will create a "virtual" gatewat, but, even doing this, right now it is the time to have the loader running. Once virtual NVRAM has been fully implemented the WIIU will be forever own.

But that's taking all the fun out of it imo. Anyway, I was just taking a piss. LoL. The ONLY problem I have with cheats is when they are used online. :)

It was fun at first... but aiming to max level all characters is the opposite of fun. Also, agreed, online cheating is something I dislike too

Note that I said "knowledge of how the Wii U works and what was updated leads to the conclusion that it was not patched." That means that unless evidence is shown to the contrary, the default assumption should be no patch.
