This is awesome :) Only problem was installing Pokemon Alpha Sapphire took me about 1 hour to get it to work.

- System: N3DS
- Sysnand: 10.3.0.28E sysnand
- Booted HBL with: IronHax
- Homebrew Version: Original Smea
- How many tries before FBI worked: 5-30 lol
- How many tries before Legit CIA installation worked: 50 tries before for alpha sapphire would work
- Did it work: Yes

I'd say, hold onto your butts and see what happens tomorrow, apparently there's going to be a stable method of downgrading.

Only one hour? Lucky you! I've been on it for three days. I got in once but only had 4 CIAs on my SD card :-p
 
Friend has a N3DS with 10.3. I wanna know if he can use this to install a game update. MHX to be exact. Do updates count as legit cias? If they don't, what happens if he tries to install?

Yes. This allows installation all the way up to 10.3.

Ok I try later, but I read about New 3ds bricked ... Is the ÷ high

I downgraded two o3DSs and didn't have problems with either. As long as he follows the directions he'll be fine. It's worth it.

I was hoping we'd be as lucky, but it seems his sysupdater keeps freezing. I've heard using a certain entrypoint can cause freezes. So I'll tell him to use menuhax instead. Browserhax seems to be causing issues. D:

I used MenuHax on both of mine with the older release, and not the more stable re-release. I got mine to boot up first try on both, so I wasn't even aware there was a booting problem until I read about it. but as far as I know, once you get it running it's pretty smooth.

Yeah, if he can't get it working this time, I'll suggest installing menuhax. Should be a simple manager install, and it should work from then on, hopefully.

Only 1 brick. Another was a soft brick, and the soft brick was from a modified version of FBI.(Not the one from OP. Also someone correct me if I'm wrong)

You can legally dump your own legit cia files to use.
Some people like the option to install legit cia files without the risk of extensive writing to nand as in a downgrade.

But I do think the title and OP should be edited to reflect the better option of downgrading.
