Hacking Badge Arcade Cheating with Gateway

Did you put the cheats in a text file named 0004000000153600.txt, in a Cheats folder on the Gateway microSD card?
They don't go on the 3DS's microSD card.

You must put it in the micro sd card where you store your 3ds/3dz games, the one for your GW card.
Not the big one. (inside the 3DS).

Be sure you have at least 1 free play.)
Activate it in the in the real play machine only, and not earlier. (optional press L or R to refresh the crane value.)

Oh and I recommend my tweaked version on page 4. It's more stable them my first one on page 2.

I tried different codes posted in the thread but i cant seem to get them working. Maybe because these codes were meant for O3DS?
I have a 9.5 emunand EU N3DS XL
obiviously i put the codes in cheats folder on gateway card, i also enable them, did the como buttons but nothing happens.
now i have to wait tomorrow as i dont have any free tries or training.

Daft question... How do I get the Badge Arcade to run ?
I have it installed and every time I get a 'You need to update to run this' error. I've tried HANS and that threw a 'Cannot access the SD card' error. I'm using an N3DSL which came with firmware 9.2.0 and hasn't been upgraded ever.
I do have access to a 4.5 O3DSL that I can use if need be, but I'd prefer to use the N3DSL.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks. So it has to be O3DS then ? As far as I'm aware, the situation hasn't changed and Gateway users cannot update beyond 9.5 (unless something changed in the last few days ?) Is there a way to spoof it at all ?

i'm using rxtools so i can upgrade from the settings tab, i don't know if gateway users can do it, but you can* download sysUpdater for an offline upgrade

you have 11 codes for N3DS!
originally i made a few codes, +1, set to 50, set to 99 etc, but why?
just keep things simple like this:
2 codes for N3DS, 2 codes for O3DS
combine training and the real game, why not? no problem at all.

Still, my point about the general trend in micro-transaction games still stands. It would be nice if Nintendo did different than everyone else, but i doubt it

@cearp these are not my findings, I just put the codes found in this thread in a .txt to try them.
today I try badge arcade game and I can confirm the first two working on a eu N3DS on 3.6.2 gw.
always 5 tries,to end just deactivate the code and collect the badges.
thanks to whoever has found these offset.

Don't we use Private Headers on our roms specifically to hide the fact we are using roms, to avoid error 002-0102 which seems to be Nintendo's "You are banned" message? Because that seems to still be a thing.

no, not to avoid bans, just to enable access (that's the way i see it)

They way i do it is the search for 8 bit "5", play, "4", play, "3", and then i'm left with 2 values which I change to 90. Then I play in practice mode until i have 50 and then move to the real game and do the same. How do i create a file which does this automatically?

as i mentioned before, these codes are for gateway and are working on my EUR N3DS.
Just activate them, use free plays, collect about 30 badges in free play and then disable the cheat for free plays to reset the turns.
then in the "real" mode now you have at least 3 tries, with the cheat "real turns" activated now you have unlimited tries, as the count of the turns is frozen.

Hey there, thanks for replying, I was able to get two address, but, the thing is, how to save those cheats from hit list..
And, also, my plays had been stuck to 99 and I was unable to change them, so, I had to power off my 3ds, so, any way to get around this?
