Just use Configurable USB Loader, it's just so good.
I will check if I see something on my USB Loader GX and I will tell you.

Like I mentioned, I prefer the look and feel of USB Loader GX, basically because it mimics the appearance of the official Wii menu. I also feel like it has a wealth of options and features, not all of which are in other loaders. For example, does Configurable USB Loader support logging the time spent playing Wii backups to the Wii message board? USB Loader GX also supports Nintendont in the latest official version, unlike Configurable USB Loader (supposedly).

That said, I've still yet to figure out how to get my GC backups to appear in USB Loader GX... any ideas as to what settings I need to change for that to work? I mean, the actual Nintendont app works just fine atm, but having everything together in one place is always nice.

Over here, you need to check "GC Games"

Uhh, I've done that already. Like, it's on by default and every time I tried loading the drive with the GC backups I confirm it's still on. Still nothing lol. The filtering does work as intended for Wii games and Nand channels, but it doesn't help with GC games.

Also, regarding the difference between Wii and vWii homebrew, the main thing (although not directly related to the homebrew itself) is that you can use the Gamepad as an alternate screen when needed. More useful if you share a TV with others, I guess. Of course, the problem (again due to the system itself) is that you have no GC ports, so you can't use GC controllers with the HBC and many apps, plus you can't use actual GC memory cards with anything. You can use the controllers at least in Nintendont with the USB adapter for GC controllers. Plus you can use the Pro controller in Nintendont. As far as the actual HB apps, the one thing to note is that a lot of apps have different versions for Wii and vWii, and some don't have a version working on vWii. I feel like there's some actual benefits to vWii homebrew that I'm forgetting, but I'm hardly an expert at this subject matter.

Personally, I set up all my vWii homebrew for the sake of convenience. With my Wii's disc drive busted, I transfered all my Wii downloads over my Wii U asap when I got it at launch. It seemed silly to keep using my Wii alongside the Wii U, so I got all the Wii homebrew I could loaded on my Wii U soon after it was available.

Guys,

My current drive is a 500 GB WBFS drive and I've gone into Wii Backup Manager but it doesn't see my drive....I've gone in to the settings to tell it to mount the drive on startup but when i look on the main screen, nothing is showing.

Help!!!!

Edit: I was using build 78 of the Wii Backup Manager, I've now managed to find build 79 and the disk is now seen :D
