Tutorial Simple Guide to Downgrading your 3DS

Successfully downgraded my O3DS from 9.9U to 9.2U using menuhax as the entrypoint! Although I encountered black screens before successful bootup. Thanks for this guide!

did you press L to acces the Homebrew from the main menu? i've seen people saying menuhax isn't good for this

Yes, use the latest build if your not already. Also use homemenuhax, seems to have best results.

Not always. Only if your lucky to have that part of the nand intact

Then this is likely not for you. This app alters nand files and has a high possibility of destroying your device. The only ones doing this are experienced or idiots.

Just tried to downgrade on O3DSXL on 10.1 and got title exception: main.cpp:100: result 0xc9e08001 failed to get cia file info. Any ideas whats going on ?

Yes, the new starter pack from smealum's site has a homemenuhax installer to be run from any other entrypoint.

Welp, i have a problem when the downgrade finished. The old menu appear and when i open the System Config, the 3DS freeze with the 3DS Animation that start with any game... So, Are this normal?

60% of n3ds are bricks from this.
Wait it out (with me) for ktm or more stable sysupdater and downgrade then.
