Beggers are not choosers, get a decent video card or code support for yours, problem solved.

Do you understand what alpha software mean? Apparently not.
Funny, how you say people should buy a nvidia card instead of whining for amd support, but a second later explain it is still in alpha >.>

Did I complain that the emulator was too slow, crashing or not working on whatever? Not one single time. I make software for a living, I know what it is.
It is a young emulator, and already amazing. Just can't stand ungrateful clowns complaining about bugs or support for their middle aged hardware / OS or whatever.

May the author of this emulator live an extra 1000 years and bring us some more goodness!

Let's get back to CGA then, since higher resolution is evil apparently. What a waste of a 980 ti... However, sticking with the Wii U native resolution makes sense, I can at least give you that.

Thanks but it isn' t working. I searched but found nothing :(

Fantastic work Exzap, this is moving so fast!

What a 'tard...

Finally someone here with an IQ higher than 2...

I am happy and grateful! I thanked the author for his work multiple times, and never begged for anything.

But just look at all those clowns complaining like french girls... "Free stuff is not good enough for me, I want this and that, and I want it now". Pathetic.

Are you just going to continue to insult others or are you actually going to be in the least bit helpful?
It literally took jonaand2 a single post to help more than you have in your whole 16 posts...

Probably should have PM'd him that though, pretty sure it's against the rules to share those here.

Just for clarification, what exactly prevents games from continuing past a certain point or from booting at all?
Is it just the missing libraries mentioned in the log or is there more to it?

Well of course there's more to it :glare:

accuracy first, optimizations later
Stability is more of an issue right now than accuracy.

Missing features and hardware compatibility, certain games require different ways of doing something, so the emu crashes because it doesn't know how to handle said situations.

Mario kart 8 running!!! Thanks @Exzap

I see you got some title keys ;)

So correct me if i'm wrong, but the libraries are what the games use to get at the hardware, right?

This libraries list needs an update by the way!

in short yes, Graphics libraries(DirectX/OpenGL/Vulkan/etc.) are libraries that are used to display what you're able to see on the screen, a lot of work goes into using them however(without a wrapper i mean), this is why a lot of changes to the vertex buffers/cache(storage of texture points) are being modified and whatnot, if something different is done that a game used, it could lead to better results or worse stability

So then the challenge of making an emulator is accurately reproducing the results of each function the libraries provide access to?

well not exactly every function, but for the most part, yes, a lot of it comes down to flexibility with each game, really, being as every game does something different, you'd have to try to accomodate for that, and being that there was no third-party support for games on the wiiu, it's going to be a little easier developing lol
