Hi, I have a Old Nintendo 3DS XL with 10.3 System men version. I was wanting to get hombrew on it.
Problem is I don't have Ironfall, or OoT or Cubic Ninja or Super Smash bros. 3ds. Any help on how to get homebrew?

Shocking how no one has taken note of the incorrect title yet.... since it essentially states "Old New3DS"

So is it an old 3ds or a new 3ds :rofl2:

The N stands for Nintendo not New, smartass. :P

1) -sigh- why do people always instantly have to dish out the insults...

2) No.. the general abbreviations are O3DS and N3DS to signify the difference between classic 3DS's and New3DS's. (capitals on the O and N may vary per user but don't matter)

3) Even if Nintendo was implied here that was not the obvious option nor was it required because honestly, on GBATemp subforum 3DS homebrew not knowing it's a Nintendo console ... well yeah you go figure out what's wrong with that.

The title is implying that it is an old Nintendo 3DS.

Does it matter? The post itself specifies O3DS.

If you don't have Ironfall, then you can't get it anyway, and Smashhax is only for N3DS.

The absolute best would be Cubic Ninja, if you can find it at a price you can afford. Otherwise, Ocarina of Time 3D is the only other option, but that requires you to have access to another homebrew-enabled 3DS to install the exploit, or you can use a Powersaves or an R4i Save Dongle. Alternatively, a DS/Lite with a DS flashcard can also be used to install the save file, but that would require you to cut off the tab on the side of your OoT3D cartridge which is a shame.

(I heard an Action Replay DSi could also be used, on any 3/DS system, provided your ARDSi isn't blocked by your console. It apparently supports .nds homebrew so you would be able to run the DS save manager to upload the oot3dhax save file to an OoT3D cartridge without having to cut off the tab on the side.)
