Homebrew [Release] FBI - Open source CIA installer

Yeah, I used rxTools 9/28 nightly and injecting FBI works. It injected v1.3.8 though, even though I downloaded the .cia for the latest version back when I injected it.

That being said, is there a way for me to inject the latest version into H&S? I much prefer having FBI into the H&S app over having it as its own app on the home menu.

(Also it supports injecting into both sysnand and emunand)

As far as I'm aware, it's incompatible with the N3DS since the H&S app has a different title ID and version number. Apparently there's a way to generate an injectable .app/.tmd yourself (from a CIA file), but it seems like a much more lengthy process (that I'm still trying to figure out ).

I have a question I have a 3ds old firm 9.2.0.0 while starting minipasta 2 times fbi remains on the white screen, how can I install sysupdater.cia to update browser ???? without fbi !!!!
N.B. I entered the dbs folder with two files

Yeah I found that tutorial, but in the end it didn't seem worth it for the amount of effort required, given that the current version I have installed in my H&S app (1.3.8) has worked fine for everything I've had to do.

Well... I managed to do it successfully, and actually isn't that complicated once you have the programs set up (only 3 steps, really. Just dump, generate, then inject). Plus Decrypt9 has an 'unmount' feature so you don't have to reboot your 3DS between steps, which is handy.

That was broken a while back. Was it fixed? Also, they inject an old version. At least you could use the old version to install the new one, I guess...

On another note. There is a small glitch with the option to delete a file prior to reinstalling. When the latest FBI says it's already installed, and you press A to delete it and install, it also shows a WRONG_ARGUMENT message, but you press start to continue and then try to install it again, and it installs just fine (so the deletion worked, but there is a glitch between the delete and install... perhaps there needs to be a delay added in before the install?).

What's the full error details when this happens?

Oops, not WRONG_ARGUMENT in this case
It shows Deleting file for like half of a second, then (trying to install BootNTR3.1 on top of itself as an example):

I have a problem. I installed the paid Mii Plaza games with the latest FBI version and the install was succeeded, and yes, I have Mii Plaza 4.0 for sure.
However, they won't show up as if I don't have them, so nothing happens.

What do I have to do to install those games?

I have 4.5 sysNAND.
rxTools 10.2 emuNAND.

And ofcourse I use emuNAND.

Are you sure they are of the same region? Are they YOUR paid games? Try devmenu for those.

1 fbi latest version right?
2 when I start go.bat by error message ctrtool.exe incompatible required x86 version ????
3 so I need a vesion of (universal inject) to winx86 ???

Look in the thread, someone else had the same problem, its an easy fix

If no one knew how to make DS Mode run in emunand before then I might be the first person who found the solution (by accident I must say) because I found the way to replicate it in another 3DS, I'll be uploading a video.

I am having the same problem when installing. It's the first timne I use FBI, so maybe I have done something wrong, but I don't know what.
I am using Old10.3.0 28E and OoThax.

You can't use FBI since it needs 9.2 or below to work properly
