"No database" means that the SD title database hasn't been created, ...do the trick where you create empty "title.db" and "import.db" files in "/Nintendo 3DS/<id0>/<id1>/dbs/" on your SD card, open "Data Management -> Nintendo 3DS -> Software" in System Settings, and let it repair the files.

I installed DS-WhiteList1.0-0004800F484E4841.cia with FBI in my sysnand/NAND destination, now DS Mode is broken in emunand... But sysnand DS Mode works just fine.

Hope can I fix this? Other than restoring my sysnand of course.

As far as I know DS Mode doesn't work in emuNand and never did.

It did for me without doing anything special.

If no one knew how to make DS Mode run in emunand before then I might be the first person who found the solution (by accident I must say) because I found the way to replicate it in another 3DS, I'll be uploading a video.

Every time I accidentally ran DS software in emuNand I would get an error and the system would restart.

The feature list says that you can delete .cia files in FBI. I have tried looking for this but have been unable to find it. Am I missing something?

Also is it possible to have it automatically delete a .cia file upon a successful installation?

You have to press the "R" button to switch installation modes.

I am relatively new to 3DS hacking, I only got my system CFWd in the last couple of days. I managed to install some unsigned CIAs but my last 2-3 attempts have failed with the following message (after the progress bar reached 100%):



Running rxTools nightly and FBI 1.4.15
Destination was SD on an unlinked EMUNAND with plenty of space
SYSNAND @ 4.1.0-4U
EMUNAND @ 4.1.0-4U

What could be this? Maybe SD card problem?

Just an update to this: the problem was solved by migrating my stuff to another SD card. Never trust cheap Chinese SD cards, even if your other computers can read/write it properly...

I honestly can't believe you were using a cheap chinese piece of technology and didn't think about it being the problem in the first place.

Samsung Ultra SD cards are so cheap in Amazon now days that I'm surprised you went out of your way to buy a cheaper quality one from China.

Never trust Chinese cheap stuff.

i have a N3DS with Pasta + Rxtool 9.0 firmware.

i tried to launch CN: Steam into emuNAND 9.0 but with no success: i got stuck on 3DS logo at startup and i have to reset the 3DS.
I installed the .cia rom with FBI and i also installed after its .cia update, always with FBI.


What should i do to play? ^^

Update your emunand to 9.5 and use fixed update patch(google) since the latest patch blocks 9.5.

The options's manager says rx 9.0 but should i have emuNAND 9.5 since i create the emunand with the last gateway (3.4.1), with the option: format emunand.

is it right?

Not, emuNAND is a copy of your sysNAND , so it will be 9.0.0-XXE. Get the 9.5 firmware in "that ISO site" and update with sysUpdater on emunand.
