He never mentioned that. Grab a dictionary, and look at the meaning of the word "around". Hopefully you have other things to do in your life than waiting for an emu in super alpha state (but still amazing, don't get me wrong) that won't still run anything at this stage anyway...

In my dictionary around Wednesday means either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. So getting that question on a Thursday afternoon/evening is not weird.

He might release it this weekend (I hope so) Saturday or Sunday , maybe Friday, no one knows, its up to Exzap to decide whenever to post the update

Oh I know, but then he shouldn't have said 'around Wednesday' because that will only get people asking for updates now. As you can see.

You do realize that's because most games don't support OpenGL, right? In the case of source games (Half-Life, Team Fortress 2, etc) they actually run better on Linux than their Windows counterparts because they weren't half assedly ported over. When/if Vulcan takes off the situation will change drastically (assuming devs begin to use it).

On topic (so mods don't delete my post) : the website says Cemu runs on Windows 7+ but long time lurking the thread tells me it's only 10. Is it using DX12 or can I run it on 8.1?
not true adding in dx12 you still get opencl and vulkan down the road as for linux gaming speeds newest tests done show valves games run better on windows 10 now than linux

Cemu 1.1.0 is here!
changelog said:
  • New future-proof GPU7 shader assembly to GLSL decompiler (work-in-progress)
  • Fixed a few bugs in color and depth buffer emulation.
  • Added more system functions, leading to higher compatibility.
  • Added hacky support for DRC rotation. Right click on the render window & drag to change the orientation
  • Implemented some background logic for audio emulation. No audio output yet.

As I announced earlier in this thread, the new Cemu release features an (almost) completly rewritten graphics backend. This overhaul was necessary as a lot of the old code was super hacky and in some cases it became impossible to fix bugs without introducing game-specific hacks. Furthermore, the new backend is designed in a way that allows easier integration of advanced render features used by some games (for example Geometry shaders and Tesselation).

As a side effect of the new backend, many graphical bugs are fixed but also some of the stuff that did work in 1.0.2 is now broken.

In regards to compatibility: Shovel Knight is working and playable. Other games might be affected too but further testing is needed. (Compatibility list, anyone?)

Now i want to see someone testing Zelda the Wind Waker HD on this, and Mario Kart 8, i want to see progress, but i do not own these games so i need someone else to test it out for me please xD

But i am still not sure if i will prefer Wind Waker in 1080P with Dolphin or Wind Waker HD in Cemu.
Also can the gamepad screens be seperate from tv screen. I want to try use a phone and a controller attached to work as a gamepad with a steamer or nvidia shield app to use the touch and using it like a wii u gamepad with the tv output on another main window
