Hacking Options for getting my New 3DS sysnand as emunand for my 3ds xl?

I ordered a 8.something firmware 3ds xl, and I currently have a compact new 3ds on the latest firmware. Probably a crapshoot, but is there any sort of homebrew option to basically transfer the license of my Nintendo network ID to the o.g. 3ds, or am I pretty much left with trying to convince Nintendo to switch the licenses?

You can install emunand, update it to 10.3 and do a system transfer.

I didn't know that, in case you can't you could still call Nintendo and report it that "it broke" and ask them to transfer the NNID to the other system.

you can not transfer from N3DS to O3DS, I think it's better to say that you N3DS is broken or something, and you want to get your NNID unlinked from it, then it's more easy to link your NNID to that O3DS

How will that work? Do you trick the old 3ds XL into thinking it's an n3ds?

You system transfer from n3ds to n3ds then run xor on the hard modded one and manually transfer everything. I guess the hard mod isn't needed but you lose. 9.x system

I think I'll just try to get Nintendo to free the license up. I'll lose my saves which will suck, and I'll miss changing faceplates on my compact, but I'd really like to get into import games, English patches and testing titles prior to purchase. Although maybe I should just keep using my compact as my main system and use the other one when there are those titles to try...
