So we're able to confirm that even after being setup it doesn't work on higher firmwares?

Im sad to say yes. The store where i bought it from will send a R4i SDHC 3DS RTS card to me since they provided me with false information i stated this fact and they agreed =)

I got hold of a DS Lite.. and applyed current fw patch..and still no go after the update either so if somone want a ace3ds card holla at me =) Should work up untill fw 7.x

I would just hold onto it with your 2ds. In theory it should be your cfw console to "test" games. Also it adds to resale value if you planed on selling it. Cfw + dsi cart is the ultimate setup for the 2ds

Good point. Maybe i consider selling it if it just collects dust hehe.

I bought a few of these for friends & family recently and some clearly dont work with 3ds firmware 10 but some do! On the bad ones I get same error as original poster, how can I fix these? they work on a dsi but not a 3ds running firmware 10, the others work ok, using latest firmware from site. Some cards are obviously diferent to others although they look the same inside. Anyone any ideas on how to update them? I have a dsi to update it but how?

-edit- cleaning inside the cards sometimes works! they work on a dsi but not a 3ds but then I clean and they work in a 3ds. doesnt make sense really, is it just bad workmanship?
