Maybe with the source? we can dream.
he didn't release 2.1 or 2.0 source and i agree this will unlikely give us a kernel exploit if any.Remember when smea released 2.1 source?
I actually can wait to see what homebrew would be based on hansCan't wait to see homebrew based on HANS.
Hans is certainly a master piece of the 3ds scene, you can do really cool things with his features.I actually can wait to see what homebrew would be based on hans
4 months ago we thought rom hacking was impossible without kernel i really wonder what else we can do without kernelHans is certainly a master piece of the 3ds scene, you can do really cool things with his features.
I don't think u can edit permissions even with hans maybe if heavily modifed but unliklyPeople have modified the system settings. I'm sure modifying something like this with permissions could lead to something?
Once again, no retail apps have the ability to install or remove system apps. eShop does all it's business by feeding nim a valid ticket and then nim does the installing iirc. No, you can't alter this to downgrade, because you'd need to remove system apps, which goes back to what I said before.People have modified the system settings. So... instead of a kernel patch, someone should be looking for a NIM patch?Once again, no retail apps have the ability to install or remove system apps. eShop does all it's business by feeding nim a valid ticket and then nim does the installing iirc. if you own a Gateway, eshop spoofing never went away. You can still use 3dnus to grab the latest Nver and install it, reboot, and use freemultipatcher to use e-shop. I actually installed the latest Nver, eshop, and mint on my N3ds, and it works fine on 9.5 emunand.I'm eager to see what the community can do with it. I guess the best thing we can realistically hope for (and it would already be amazing!) is the return of the eShop spoofing. And please, before February 27. Fingers crossed!
so my dreams for kernel 9.3< via hans collapse?
not that I believed it in the first place...
anything that can lead us to kernel exploit in the near future?
