Gaming Cannot find "Send to DS" on the Mii Channel

I want to transfer my Mii collection to my 3DS but I cannot find the "Send to DS" button in the Mii Channel. Is there an update I need to get or is coming or am I missing something here?

I dont think the wii is ready to work hand and hand with the 3ds YET

Press A→B→1 one at a time and then hold down 2 in the Mii Channel.

I know this is gonna bump, that's not my intent
If you still care, the timing is very hard. You press A, then B, then 1 in that order. Then hold 2, and only 2. Make sure during all of this your Wii Remote isn't facing the sensor bar. NP guy from a decade ago.
Damn he hasnt been active since 2013, hope this helps anyone else with this issue tho.
