I'm personally wondering if it's worth staying on 10.1 now because afaik the only thing that I would lose by updating is themehax, which I don't actually care a lot because I prefer to use my custom themes.
You can use custom themes with the newest version of menuhax.

I installed the starter kit today and it is displaying 11-03-15 for me too. Everything is working fine.
Hmm well I updated my oot3dhax to 10.3 and it says 11-09-2015 now :p
Maybe it's only the 10.3 payloads that say 11-09-2015, but they don't actually have anything new, at least yet?

When I'm trying to update the payloads for the Ironhax from 10.2 for 10.3, it says 10.1 instead of the said 10.3. I redownloaded the files. So uhhhhhhuh. There's also some weird error code.

I do not want to touch this system update, at least not yet. My N3DS had updated to 10.2 on it's own without getting the OK from me. I had to resort to Oothax. The system already nagged me once that a system update is ready. What can I do to prevent this update from doing itself again? Also, I frequently use Pokémon Bank. Will I be locked out of it if I refuse to update?

this is impossible, the 3DS never installs updates without user confirmation. if it wasn't you, then someone else might have done it, or you might have accepted it without realizing.

I assume if you're on 10.2.0-28, you might be fine for now. haven't checked though.

Maybe. I don't remember saying yes to the update. I told myself I was going to stay clear from 10.2. Themehax had stopped working for me when I was still on 10.1. I couldn't reinstall it because this was the same day I got the nag on the browser to update. Whenever a system update nag popped up, I said no. I wish I knew what happened maybe someone else touched my system and as silly as this sounds, I have a large parrot that could have bumped something when I wasn't looking and I left my 3DS open on the home menu. This bird has jumped on my laptop in front of my face before spamming my ex-girlfriend on Skype before ending the call on her.
I saw something floating around about a way to get around the browserhax patch with a N3DS but by the time I found out about it, my system had already updated. I had to resort to Oothax through Powersaves since I don't have Cubic Ninja. I can't afford CN and I've already owned OOT for a few years and I have already owned a Powersaves device since last year.

I just tested Pokémon Bank and I got in no problem. My pass expires in 19 days, though.
EDIT: I am on 10.2.0-28U

did you just replace the files? Because you have to install the ironhax installer again after you replace the files.

Incorrect. There is a fix. Format EmuNand partition. It places a new EmuNand at SysNand version. Then I'm not sure what to do if you want to update to a specific firmware...

So far I only stick to .cia games I have, just hoping GW get a fix or update on it.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

3 - Wait Gateway team release an updated launcher.dat file that will fix the multiROM menu, then copy this new launcher.dat to your SD card.

Thanks, so far I still playing with my .cia games, hoping Gateway team get the update to fix this issues. :)

Good that I haven't posted my FC or anything or the spy wud go to his boss like a crying baby goes to his mom and wud've said 'Mommy this guy called me an asshole*' and the Nintendo wud block the internet from my 3DS

I've a question.
I downloaded NVer (latest) through the 3DNUS and packed it as a cia.
What do I have to do to install it to SysNAND?
Can I use BigBlueMenu/BigRedMenu/FBI/devmenu to install it or do I have to use another tool?

You can, but I still don't recommend it. If you're just trying to relink an NNID to your sysNAND, consider launching the NNID management app via FBI instead. That's purported to bypass the update check.

It's because I did everything over SysNAND yet (Install homebrew to it, Copies of my retail games and such).
I want to play online again and access the Miiverse + eShop like before the new update 10.3.
As long as you say I don't brick my NAND with it, I'm happy.

The other problem is that I'm without a Cardreader atm so I'm not able to setup a new EmuNAND for a while.

It shouldn't, but at least make a nand backup or two just in case. Messing with sysNAND internals like that can be dangerous.

made one a long time ago (when I brick this NAND, I should be able to use my up2date ticket.db to use all my installed apps without reinstalling, right?)
Yea, I've a NAND Backup + Xorpads from June 2015
Is it okay to use PastaCFW + FBI to do this?

EDIT:
Installed NVer in SysNAND:
- My Firmware is 9.0.0-28E now
- I'm able to access the Miiverse again + access the eshop through hans :)

Not sure if anyone mentioned it, but if this whole needed the latest firmware to log into NNID stuff is the first step to an account system, I'm all for it. With a Direct coming up, I could so use an account system, preferably the one that lets you link an additional 1 or 2 systems to the account.

That's what I thought as well. I don't think this whole thing is patch-able to be honest.

My 3DS is now a barrage of notifications ever since I got Yokai Watch runnng.

- Opens 3DS, "A system update is required"
- Inserts game, "An update for your title is available"
- Opens game, "And update for your title is available"
- Starts game, "Would you like to activate Spotpass feature for this game?"
- Tabs to XBL, "YOKAI WATCH IS NOW AVAILABLE"
- Closes notification "A system update is required"

Jesus christ, let's not forget that every single time I close my 3DS screen or exit out the game, I get this instant pop up to update and all it takes is one wrong button press and the next time you reboot your 3DS, you're done for.
If ya'll have seen scary movies, that ain't shit compared to updating.

Turn off your 3ds
then hold the buttons: Up, A, L, R
then press the power button while you are holding down the buttons, then press cancel

Bye bye update notification
If you want the update notification gone while you are at home wifi, put the blocks in to your router.

If you pass by a Mcdonalds, Best Buy, other "Nintendo Zone", you may need to use the steps above to remove the update again.
