To be honest, i'm seeing other regions besides the US are being able to bypass system update

Weird, looks like using HANS directly instead of the shortcut works on 9.0U sysnand. Will try that on my 9.5 Emunand (shouldn't be any difference between them, but w/e).

I can't link my NNID on 9.0 SysNand, it ask me to update.

I wouldn't be so sure that is a good thing. The only difference between my synand and my emunand is my emunand has a linked NNID. The eshop actually errors out and demands an update after attempting to log in with my NNID. Does anyone know if mint handles the NNID sign in?

Just tested my O3DS on 9.9U that does not have a NNID set up and it was able to access the eshop with HANS as well.

Can anyone who has a NNID set up on 9.0 sysnand or emunand give it a try and report back? Same for anyone who has an emunand between 9.0 and 10.0 but no NNID set up?

Just tested my O3DS on 9.9U that does not have a NNID set up and it was able to access the eshop with HANS as well.

Can anyone who has a NNID set up on 9.0 sysnand or emunand give it a try and report back? Same for anyone who has an emunand between 9.0 and 10.0 but no NNID set up?

I've HANS updated to the last version smea released. My system version is 10.1.0-27 from EUR. Also running the latest payload he released for 2.5 on IronFall.
I'm unable to start any app that tries to login with the NNID (I've tested eShop through HANS on HBL and PokeBank from Home Menu). Both of them show Error: 022-2511 and ask me to update my system to the latest version.
Smea told us not to update until he say so. Probably he's still trying to figure out what Nintendo changed so keep calm and stay without updating if you're in <10.2.

Of you have a NNID set up then it will automatically attempt to sign into it when you access the eshop. If it does not do that then you don't have one set up.

Just delete the save game on cubic ninja and go to smeas site for the homebrew and click cubic ninja and go to the site and enter your firmware and scan the qr code

I'm on 10.1 with 2.5 hax.
Confirmed eshop shortcut and HANS FW spoofing does not work.
I have NNID linked

Error code: 022-2511
Must update to access.


And yes, I've the updated HANS.

From what I am seeing, it sounds like the change involves checks done when attempting to sign into NNID. I can only assume this is handled by mint since it was the only online component updated today.

If you're on 10.1 I suggest not to update for now and wait for news from smea.
If you're on 10.2 you can run installer again from Ironhax itself. I suggest to install it to a different a slot so you don't get the chance losing homebrew if overwritting messes up.
