I'm in a similar situation to others here (locked out of homebrew but I have OOT and Powersaves) and I'm on the most current firmware for my Old 3DS: 10.2.0-28U. I had found a save file that I thought would work and put it on my cart... the save file did show up and work fine (so I'm pretty sure my copy of OOT is one without the save protection) but it didn't have the right payload installed so it would always boot me out to the main menu whenever I tried to run the exploit. So I need a new OOTHax save to get my homebrew working... can any of you guys please help me out?

To sum it up, I need:

- an OOTHax save for 10.2.0-28U on Old 3DS
- with the payload for Hax 2.1 OR Hax 2.5 (either is fine) in the save

Sorry for my first post here being a request like this, but it's my only option. I would really, really appreciate the help. Please and thank you.
Did you try this one?

Sorry guys, I'm not understanding very well what I need for this.

If I've a PS and the EU version of the game, can I take payload.bin from smea's website and make PS inject it alongside with my save somehow ? Or do I need someone with the same FW version to run the installer, then dump its hacked save and hand it to me ?

If you have powersaves and an oot cart and no one to patch your cart with the hax save, you can use a prepatched save file for your system version. I just did it for my o3ds 10.2E

Nice, thanks ! I've found some prepatched saves on these forums already, but do you know of any "compilation" of prepatched saves ? I know a bunch of people who could use this so it would be cool if I didn't have to search for every possible FW version^^

@Filo97 is in the process of making one here, but he's not very good with english: https://gbatemp.net/threads/oothax-powersaves-file.402554/
What firmware version and system are you on? If it's an European version, I can make you a save file, if it isn't already available

i am not very good with it because i am italian.
I don't think he/she meant any offense (I'm french btw, so my english is probably worse than yours)^^ I indeed saw your post a couple minutes after asking. Unfortunately I'm on n10.1 so that's not helpful to me yet, but I'll keep the 10.2 save just in case.

@gign919191 I'm on n10.1.0-27E (as i just said^^), so I'd be glad if you could patch a save for me :yaynds: Once I get HBL working I should be able to install MenuHax then I'll be able to make prepatched saves for my friends and contribute them to your thread, Filo97.

I'll patch you the n10.1.0-27E save file then, but I can't promise my OoT cart is the same version as yours. I'll post here when I've patched it.

EDIT: Save file attached.

Would you happen to have a prepatched save file for o3ds 10.2E or 03ds 10.1E? I can't find any prepatched files that work (keep getting file corrupted error as I load it)

Thanks a lot! This worked for me, had to change the name of the .bin in order for my powersaves to recognize it.
you already tested it on your oot or you just founded that powwersaves recognized it?
if you just founded that powersaves recoginzed it you still need to wait befor being happy because it might even delete all data and do not have hb.

Hello! Please help me with this, I am using an O3DS XL 10.2.0.28U, I have a copy of OOT3D and I'm afraid to lose my data on it, can someone please help me? I would really like to get homebrew on my copy.

Do you have a PowerSaves? If so, just backup your save file and you'll be good to go.

Yes i do have powersaves. But these saves that are being linked are for N3DS, does that matter? I don't think I'm fully understanding the instructions that are given.

First of all backup your save file for Ocarina of Time, and which console(new 3ds or old 3ds) and firmware are you running?
