Hey Guys,

Nintendo broke the eShop on Firmware under 10.0.
http://3dbrew.org/wiki/EShop

I used a eShop and Firmwarespoofer on Firmware 9.2 to get into the eshop and to use it.
But since the big maintenance there's no way to download stuff or anything because the links are changed.

Is it possible to use the new eshop (version 10.0.0-27U/E/J) on a 9.2 N3DS?

As 3Dbrew said, Nintendo changed URL to new ones on this e-shop maintenance.
So if your tiger (e-shop client, 0004001000020900 in Japanese) is outdated, it will not support the new URL access forever.

So I doubt if hans is available to fix this since hans can't automatically change the old URL into new URL.

It's a pretty simple edit. If you knew the urls you could probably do a search and replace with a hex editor. ;)
I know, hex editing stuff isn't that hard. The problem is that they've removed one three links and and added a bunch of new links.
Normally you need to add all of them to the eshop to get all functions to work again.

Oh, okay o:
Otherwise another idea would be installing the new eShop via SysUpdater into the NAND (probably have to test this on EmuNAND first).

This will not work. Most system files are interdependent on each other and updating just one will almost always result in the updated one not working, if not an out right brick.

Just to be safe though I did test it on my N3DS XL with 9.5 emunand and get a black screen when trying to launch the eshop.

Seems to have worked for me on O3DS with 9.9 EmuNAND, at least. Downloaded the latest update data via 3DSNUS, took the CIAs for 0004001000022900 ("eShop") and 000400300000D602 ("mint (eShop applet)", whatever this is) and installed them via sysUpdater, which (together with Free Multi Patcher) allowed me to browse and download from the eShop again - got the Zelda: Tri Force Heroes demo, only to realize that it's multiplayer-only. I also could've just updated the whole EmuNAND because I'm still on an O3DS, but meh...

I have no idea if this'll work on any other configuration, if it'll work on lower firmware versions than 9.9, if it'll work on N3DS, etc., etc. Maybe 9.9 is overall still "close enough" to 10.2 for its eShop to work properly? I have no idea. Hell, if anyone could tell me why this has worked, I'd love to hear the explanation.

Not sure about mint, but the eShop itself was last updated with 10.0.0-27, so it is possible.

I wonder if mint is maybe needed for the eShop itself to work, or if it is just the method other titles use to access the shop for dlc/updates.

edit:

Well this is weird. Went to the Mii Plaza to make use of the single street pass I am able to get atm and it said something about a game I was interested in earlier being available now. So I exited and fired up fmp, then went to look at the game again and this time it showed me the price and let me buy it without any error...

Gonna test the eshop in general next. Wonder if the errors were a fluke on nintendo's end and we panicked for nothing.

edit2:

Nope, still get 007-2404 if I access the eShop with fmp instead of hans.

I was getting 009-2705 when I tried to look at the prices for the new Mii Plaza games (new for me anyways). I wonder if maybe it was just a glitch.
