So I downloaded a 9.2.0-20 cia pack and was searching how I can upgrade my console with it.
Me being hasty and just went to sysnand on rxMode and then opened up BigBlueMenu and tried to install all the firmware cia pack with it. It all finished without a problem, I turned off the console and tried to turn it on again, now all I see is black screens and the blue light.

So did I completely brick my console ? any one had same issue ? possible fixs ?

It's an old 3DS XL and it was on firmware 7 before I attemted the upgrade.
Your console is bricked... You did two things wrong.
1: RxMode...
2: BBM...
You needed to boot in DevMode, not RxMode.
Also you needed to use SysUpdater.
Sorry for your bricked system...

Why hurry? You should've thinked twice before doing this, there was a lot of people asking this and a lot of useful answer from gbatemp members.
The only good thing is you have a nand backup.

It's exactly how I updated to 9.0. I had to spend 3 days with other users just to make sure I'm doing it right. It never hurts to be patient.

Hi,

I'm from France and I'm able to repair it (hardmod). Not sure if/when I'll have the time to do it and if I'll ask money (not sure how much people would ask for this) but you can send me a PM to study the question.

It is really a skill that is worth the investement to learn, but personally I just lose the patience when it comes to hardware ^^, while when a problem is software related I could spend all day long and more trying to fix it.
