Gpsp as cia, for most games, mgba for some......but GBA Rom injection runs NATIVELY (read 1:1, perfect), you should try that. (link at the bottom of the 1st post if you need pointers :) )
Yeah GBA injection is great but there is no way to copy savegames to my PC/smartphone to use with other emulators... :)

Compatibility is pretty good, just the speed might not be up to par, but via cia on New3DS, with sound unsynch, especially the french/pal version might just be fullspeed :) (50fps)
give it a shot and hit us back ;)
(don't forget to get the right bios, check the 1st post for more info)

yes it does support disc switching (Core Disc Options> Disc Index)
How this this guy get 50.+ fps for FF7?> did you check the OP, I wrote it there ;)
(set A/V synch to off and sound interpolation to the lowest possible (nearest?) can't find this setting anymore)
I know I'm running Parasite Eve at the same speed.
Just tried on 3DSX builds, could not get more than 20fps... you definitely need a 9.2< system and CIA/Gateway rom build to reach that speed.

Better DSP support might help increase speed in the near future.

But I guess if you friend want to play this RIGHT NOW on n3DS, he should use the UK version of the game, which runs at 50Hz locked.

@Slasher115 What was broken with Neo Geo ? (mine worked fine (did some testing with 3DSX/3DS/CIA with the 27 or 28-10 version I think :))

- info and link about new blargSnes (2.5HAX) (for use in place of catsfc for now for o3DS 3dsx users)
- some other stuff about IPS and arcade parent/clone system

Great thread Slasher, much better than teampleb's. You should add a couple of general troubleshooting tips to the main post though. Like to delete your retroarch CFG if things aren't working/if your controls break. Or to rollback to an older version if a newer one is broken.

Yes, but i wanted to know if there difference because the kernel, i dont know if 4.2 gateway have kernel access, thanks by the way!
Being on New 3DS, I really have no idea.. try pcsx as cia or 3ds gw rom with ff7 or parasite eve, unlock sound synch, if you reach 5X fps it works, if you're getting 20fps, you're in interpreter mode ;)
 
I know there is a workaround for Super Mario Allstars @ CATsfc with the button problem. Can someone tell me cause i dont remember!

There was an unofficial port a while back, but the 2.5 update broke it, and I could not get the game screen to display properly on my New 3DS. Most of the time it was cut off, making titles like Mario Bros. pretty much impossible to play since I couldn't see Mario's side of things.

Hmm strange game and watch loads fine for me on 2.5 so don't know why it ain't working for you.

My mistake! I think I was launching something else by mistake. The unofficial Game & Watch build does run for me, but I'm still running into an issue where some of the screen is cut off and it does render a couple of the games unplayable. An official port would greatly be appreciated since I'm not sure what the development status on the unofficial one is.
